Core Faculty. Any member of the bargaining unit.
Core Faculty. The following rules on attaining Core Faculty status for IEL Full-time Faculty are established: (a) to protect faculty employment rights and faculty involvement in the establishment and protection of these rights in the Seattle Community College District, and (b) to define a reasonable and orderly process for the appointment of faculty to Core status, or for the nonrenewal of probationary faculty. A. Definitions As used in this Agreement,
Core Faculty. The University will take all reasonable measures to ensure the teaching departments will be staffed with core faculty and or the core faculty-resident ratio consistent with ACGME requirements.
Core Faculty. 21 a. Employment: The AEI will maintain a core group of Career instructors (“Core 22 Faculty”) who will maintain an annualized FTE of 0.67 to 1.0 FTE. FTE 23 assignments will be based on enrollment and operational needs, as well as faculty 24 preferences when enrollment and operational needs allow. Except as stated in this 25 MOU, the Core Faculty members will have the terms and conditions of 26 employment for Career faculty under the CBA. Each term, FTE for Core Faculty 27 will be communicated at least 60 days before the start of the term – once 28 communicated during sixty-day pre-term time frame, FTE for the following term 29 cannot be changed without the Core Faculty member’s consent. 31 b. Core Faculty Minimum Percentage: The total FTE allocated to the Core Faculty 32 will be at least 25% of the AEI’s combined total FTE in its AEIS and IEP 33 programs (“Core Faculty Minimum Percentage”). Except as stated in the 34 Transition Section below, the number of Core Faculty will be based on the Core 35 Faculty Minimum Percentage. If AEI enrollments are such that the actual FTE of 36 the Core Faculty falls below the Core Faculty Minimum Percentage for the past 37 year, and if enrollments for the following year are forecast to be at the same level 38 or higher as the past year or if actual enrollment warrants the expansion of the 39 Core Faculty, one or more instructors from the AEI Instructor Pool will be 40 converted to Career instructor and 36 added to the Core Faculty, thus increasing 41 the forecasted FTE of Core Faculty to at least 25% of total FTE. Determination of 42 who is converted to Core Faculty out of the AEI instructor pool will be based on 43 programmatic need (grant awardees, specific educational background such as a 1 Ph.D. or specialized training), rank (including Affiliate status explained below), 2 past performance for AEI, and years of teaching experience.
Core Faculty. Core faculty will be assigned an annual workload that allocates time among the four expected elements of core faculty performance: engagement in student learning; engagement in scholarship; engagement in service; and engagement in institutional citizenship. The percentage of time allocated to each element of expected performance will be determined in accord with University policy. Core faculty are generally responsible for a teaching load of twenty-four (24) credits per academic year. A teaching load of twenty-four (24) quarter credits is equivalent to 60% of a full-time workload. The annual workload will be described in an annual workload form.
Core Faculty. Dependent children of full time Core Faculty are eligible for a twenty-five percent discount when the parent has been employed by the Employer between one and three years.   • Curriculum Development This includes the analysis and coordination of textual materials; constant review of current literature in the field, some of which are selected for the college library collection, the preparation of selective, descriptive materials such as outlines and syllabi; conferring with other faculty and administration on curricular problems; and, the attendance and participation in inter and intra-college conferences and advisory committees.

  • Supplier Diversity Seller shall comply with ▇▇▇▇▇’s Supplier Diversity Program in accordance with Appendix V.

  • Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation Grantee will; a. take all steps necessary, to protect the health, safety and welfare of its clients and participants. b. develop and implement written policies and procedures for abuse, neglect and exploitation. c. notify appropriate authorities of any allegations of abuse, neglect, or exploitation as required by 25 TAC § 448.703.

  • Development Work The Support Standards do not include development work either (i) on software not licensed from CentralSquare or (ii) development work for enhancements or features that are outside the documented functionality of the Solutions, except such work as may be specifically purchased and outlined in Exhibit 1. CentralSquare retains all Intellectual Property Rights in development work performed and Customer may request consulting and development work from CentralSquare as a separate billable service.
