Annual Workload. The annual workload for full-time professors is based on a 40-hour work week. The annual workload for 10-month professors includes 30 Lecture Hour Equivalents (LHE), 120 student office hours, and 192 supplemental hours, or the hourly equivalents for counseling, library, noncredit, and instructional specialists professors. Weekly expectations for credit teaching professors include 15 LHE of teaching, 15 hours of preparation and evaluation of student work, four (4) student office hours, and an average of six (6) hours of service to the college and/or the equivalent for library, counseling, noncredit, and instructional specialist professors.
Annual Workload. The annual workload will consist of 512 hours of lecture method class contact hours or equivalent. Workloads may be averaged over the preceding or subsequent semester/quarter. At no time shall any annual overload exceed 10% of a normal workload as defined above, except with the consent of the instructor. Voluntary overloads greater than 20% shall not be carried, except for temporary overloads greater than 20% which are the result of emergency situations, and for which written approval of the Association has been given. Instructors, who are in receipt of a proportional appointment, shall be required to provide instructional services in proportion to their appointment. For example, an instructor on a 50% proportional appointment shall be required to provide 256 hours of lecture equivalent instruction.

Fulfillment of the teaching assignment and office hours must be on campus or at other assigned locations and may be met by a minimum of two (2) hours per day for a minimum of three (3) days, but not more than five (5) days, for each week of the adopted calendar. This assignment may be met on Saturdays or Sundays by mutual consent of the unit member and District designee. Unit members who are assigned evening classes as a part of their regular load will not be assigned a class prior to 10:00 a.m. the following day unless mutually agreed upon by the faculty member and his or her division xxxx. The annual work load is exclusive of overload and other extra pay assignments.

Annual Workload. (a) The annual workload of a full time or proportional ASM, SASM or PASM will include:
(i) scheduled teaching duties, and
(ii) related teaching and teaching practice duties, and
(iii) institutionally required administrative and professional duties, and
(iv) professional development, and may include research activities.
(b) The annual workload of a Learning Facilitator and Facilitator/Team Leader will include:
(i) facilitation work with students
(ii) keeping up-to-date with software requirements
(iii) keeping up-to-date with suite requirements
(iv) other duties as specified in the job description
Annual Workload. The parties agree that it is desirable to limit the number of class preparations required of a teaching faculty member to three per semester; however, it is recognized that the assignment of a fourth preparation may be required in special cases to accommodate the needs of the college. Whenever possible, the fourth preparation will be assigned on the basis of mutual agreement between the teaching faculty member and the President or his/her designee. Individuals responsible for four different class preparations in a semester shall be credited with two hours per week toward the satisfaction of additional responsibilities or, to the extent thatif workload credit cannot be provided, shall be paid up to the value of two-thirds of a contact/credit hours as an overload.
Annual Workload. Opportunities for academic development and collaboration with Initial Teacher Education (ITE) will be considered as part of workload allocation. Clauses 2.3, 2.4, 2.5 may be subject to variation, by agreement between the parties, during the term of this agreement.
