Cost Control. The Construction Manager shall develop a system of cost control for the Work, including regular monitoring of actual costs for activities in progress and estimates for uncompleted tasks and proposed changes. The Construction Manager shall identify variances between actual and estimated costs and report the variances to the Owner and Architect, and shall provide this information in its monthly reports to the Owner and Architect, in accordance with Section 3.3.2.3 above.
Cost Control. The budget established by the OWNER for the construction of the Project and CONSULTANT fee shall be considered as absolute. The CONSULTANT shall advise OWNER in writing of the following:
.1 If directives or actions of OWNER increase the scope or cost of the Project or are considered by CONSULTANT to constitute Additional Services under this Agreement.
.2 If CONSULTANT becomes aware that current market conditions have changed sufficiently to preclude construction within the limits of the approved budget.
Cost Control. Cost control and reporting;
Cost Control. CONTRACTOR shall not exceed by more than twenty (20) percent any contract expense line item amount in the budget without the written approval of COUNTY, given by and through the Contract Administrator or Contract Administrator’s designee. CONTRACTOR shall submit an amended budget with its request for such approval. Such approval shall not permit CONTRACTOR to receive more than the maximum total amount payable under this contract. Therefore, an increase in one-line item will require corresponding decreases in other line items.
Cost Control. The operation of this subsystem shall provide sufficient timely data and detail to permit the Construction Team to control and adjust the PROJECT requirements, needs, materials, equipment and systems by building and site elements so that construction will be completed at a cost which, together with all Project Costs, will not exceed the Project Budget. Based upon a quantitative material take off with current local costs for each bid group by subcontract package, within a reasonable time period as determined by the Owner in the Owner’s sole discretion, the CM shall provide its estimate of the total Project Costs for the PROJECT. These costs will be detailed by line item budget with a cost corresponding to each of the following stages or phases:
(a) At completion of the Schematic Design.
(b) At completion of the Design Development Phase.
(c) At completion of 60% of the Construction Documents Phase.
(d) At completion of 90% of the Construction Documents Phase.
(e) At establishment of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP).

Cost Control. 37. Xxxx of Quantities
37.1 The Xxxx of Quantities shall contain items for the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning work to be done by the contractor.
37.2 The Xxxx of Quantities is used to calculate the Contract Price. The Contractor is paid for the quantity of the work done at the rate in the Xxxx of Quantities for each item.
Cost Control. 37. Bill of Quantities
37.1 The Bill of Quantities shall contain items for the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning work to be done by the Contractor.
37.2 The Bill of Quantities is used to calculate the Contract Price. The Contractor is paid for the quantity of the work done at the rate in the Bill of Quantities for each item.
Cost Control. 3.11.1 The Bill Quantities shall contain items for the construction work to be done by the Contractor.
3.11.2 The Contractor is paid for the quantity of the work done at the estimate rate in the Bill of Quantities for each item plus or minus Tender percentage.
Cost Control. The Architect’s prepared plans and specifications shall not result in a construction estimate in excess of the established budget of ______________, without construction contingency. In the event it is discovered during any Phase that the estimated cost of the work is in excess of the established budget or the bids received are in excess of the established budget, the Architect shall revise, at its own cost and expense, all or any part of the plans and specifications necessary to bring the construction cost within the established budget.
