Criminal History Background. Check and Fingerprinting Requirements 1) Pursuant to Texas Education Code (TEC) Section 22.0834, Collin College shall ensure that Collin College faculty and staff assigned to work on a Xxxxx ISD site meet the applicable TEC requirements regarding fingerprinting and background checks. Wylie ISD will provide faculty fingerprinting instructions to schedule fingerprinting appointments. Fingerprinting expenses for Collin College faculty and staff will be reimbursed by Collin College directly to the employee. For more information on fingerprinting reimbursement please contact Collin College’s Human Resources office. Any additional information required by Xxxxx ISD may be requested in accordance with Section IV.F “School District Data Sharing and Privacy”. 2) Wylie ISD is responsible for promptly notifying Collin College of any additional requirements or changes in the law that may be necessary in order to comply with Xxxxx ISD’s Board policies with regard to criminal history requirements for employees of entities with whom Xxxxx ISD contracts. Xxxxx ISD will also notify Collin College if an individual does not pass the fingerprint check within 1-2 business days. Xxxxx ISD agrees to provide Collin College with additional information upon request and, to the extent allowed by law, regarding individuals who do not pass the national criminal history record check or fingerprint check.

Criminal History Background. The Provider agrees to comply with all criminal history background checks as required by Xxxxxx ISD. Provider shall certify compliance with Texas Education Code 22.0834 and Education Commissioner’s rules regarding criminal history record review for all employees, applicants for employment, agents or subcontractors of the Provider. Additionally, Provider, unless it is a publicly- held corporation, must give advance notice to the District if the person or an owner or operator of the Provider has been convicted of a felony. The notice must include a general description of the conduct resulting in the conviction of a felony. Provider will obtain criminal history record information that relates to an employee, applicant for employment, or agent of the Provider if the employee, applicant, or agent has or will have continuing duties, and the duties are or will be performed at a location where Dallas ISD students are regularly present. The Provider shall certify to the District before beginning work and at no less than an annual basis thereafter that criminal history record information has been obtained. Provider shall assume all expenses associated with the background checks and shall immediately remove any employee or agent who was convicted of a felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude, as defined by Texas law, from District property or other location where students are regularly present. District shall be the final decision-maker related to what constitutes a “location where students are regularly present.” The District may terminate this Agreement immediately and without notice to Provider if the District determines that the Provider failed to provide notice as required by this Agreement or misrepresented the conduct resulting in the conviction.

  • Criminal History Applicants who have criminal convictions may be denied. Any crimes associated with drugs, violence, sex, property damage, and/or weapons may be grounds for automatic disqualification. Eligibility is dependent upon the level, disposition, and time since the crime occurred. Open cases for similar crimes may be grounds for denial. Credit. A credit check will be performed, and the following may be grounds for denial: past due or dishonored debt, the absence of a credit history, unpaid housing accounts, unpaid utility accounts.

  • Criminal Background Checks Provider and College reserve the right to conduct criminal background checks on Resident to determine Resident’s suitability to live in Residence Facility, and Resident consents and agrees that Provider and College has permission to conduct criminal background checks on Resident.

  • Criminal Background Check It is the Responsibility of CHESAPEAKE CENTER, INC. to make certain that its employees, agents, volunteers, and contractors, who have contact with students receiving services are fingerprinted and have a background check in compliance with Family Law Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, and Section 5-551 through 5-557. CHESAPEAKE CENTER, INC. may not hire, contract, or otherwise engage an individual to participate in this Cooperative Agreement who has been convicted of a crime involving child abuse or neglect; contributing to the delinquency of a minor; a crime of violence as set forth in Criminal Law Article §14-101, Annotated Code of Maryland; or has evidence of a criminal history which in the opinion of Chesapeake Center, Inc. makes the individual unfit to participate in this Cooperative Agreement.

  • Criminal History Category With regard to determining defendant’s criminal history points and criminal history category, based on the facts now known to the government, defendant’s criminal history points equal zero and defendant’s criminal history category is I.

  • Background Screening VENDOR shall comply with all requirements of Sections 1012.32 and 1012.465, Florida Statutes, and all of its personnel who (1) are to be permitted access to school grounds when students are present, (2) will have direct contact with students, or (3) have access or control of school funds, will successfully complete the background screening required by the referenced statutes and meet the standards established by the statutes. This background screening will be conducted by SBBC in advance of VENDOR or its personnel providing any services under the conditions described in the previous sentence. VENDOR shall bear the cost of acquiring the background screening required by Section 1012.32, Florida Statutes, and any fee imposed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to maintain the fingerprints provided with respect to VENDOR and its personnel. The parties agree that the failure of VENDOR to perform any of the duties described in this section shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement entitling SBBC to terminate immediately with no further responsibilities or duties to perform under this Agreement. VENDOR agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SBBC, its officers and employees from any liability in the form of physical or mental injury, death or property damage resulting from VENDOR’s failure to comply with the requirements of this section or with Sections 1012.32 and 1012.465, Florida Statutes.
