DAY OFF PREMIUM. 21 1. Full-time nurses will be paid at one and one-half (1-1/2) times their regular 22 straight-time rate of pay for all hours worked at the request of the Hospital 23 on their regularly scheduled day or days off, except when there is a 24 change of schedule agreed upon by the Hospital and nurse. Part-time 25 nurses will be eligible after working the equivalent of 36 hours per week; 26 however any part-time nurse that accepts a shift with the approval of 27 management or the staffing office within one (1) week of the need will be 28 paid one and one-half (1 ½) times their regular straight time rate of pay. 29 Hours worked in determining eligibility for this premium will not include 30 hours worked as a result of trades; at the request of other nurses; or of Page 55 of 81 Date Accepted / / 1 being called back to work while on on-call. This premium will not be paid 2 for any un-worked hours. This section replaces all other premiums for 3 working extra or unscheduled shifts which may have been in existence 4 before this section’s effective date. 5 a. This section will apply only if the nurse also works all of their 6 regularly scheduled shifts in the same workweek, other than such 7 shifts that were not worked because of a low census day or 8 because they had previously been scheduled as PTO. 10 b. Once the shift has been accepted by the nurse and the schedule 11 has been posted the nurse will fall under the same requirements as 12 a regularly scheduled nurse to fulfill the shift. 13 2. This section K will be subject to the no pyramiding provisions of this 14 Agreement. (Example: If a nurse is paid the premium under this section, 15 the hours so paid will not be counted toward the computation of weekly 16 overtime.) No hour will be eligible for the payment of two (2) such 17 premiums.

Part- 21 time nurses will be eligible after working the equivalent of either 36 22 hours per week or 72 hours in a pay period; however any part-time 23 nurse that accepts a shift with the approval of management or the 24 staffing office within one (1) week of the need will be paid one and one- 25 half (1 ½) times their regular straight time rate of pay. Any nurse that 26 accepts a shift with the approval of management or the staffing office 27 within forty-eight (48) hours of the need will be paid a differential of $20 28 per hour. Related to DAY OFF PREMIUM

  • Shift Premium Full-Time and Part-Time Employees shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for all hours worked where the majority of their scheduled hours fall between 1500 and 0700 hours.

  • Night Shift Premium Any employee who is required to work on any day when the majority of their working hours fall between 10.00 p.m. and 5.00 a.m., or who starts their shift prior to 5.00 a.m., shall be paid a premium, in addition to their regular, hourly rate, of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour for all hours worked on the shift. Shift premium pay shall not be added to an employee’s hourly rate for the purpose of computing overtime. This clause shall not result in duplication of premiums.

  • Overtime Premium a) Time and one-half (1/2) shall be paid as follows: 1) For all hours worked over 8 (eight) hours per day. 2) For all hours worked over 40 (forty) hours per week. 3) For all hours worked on Sunday, unless part of the employees regularly scheduled workweek. b) Double time plus holiday pay shall be paid for all hours worked on holidays that are defined in this Agreement.

  • Weekend Premium An employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and forty-five cents ($1.45) per hour for each hour worked between 2400 hours Friday to 2400 hours Sunday or such other 48 hour period that the Hospital may establish. If an employee is in receipt of premium payment pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, he will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective June 28, 2005, the weekend premium shall be increased to $1.55 per hour.
