Dental Premium Subsidy. (a) County Fire has established a Dental Premium Subsidy (DPS) for all employees in regular positions in the Unit. The DPS shall not be considered compensation earnable for purposes of calculating benefits or contributions for the SBCERA; nor shall the DPS be converted to cash. The DPS paid for each eligible employee shall be $9.46 per pay period.
Dental Premium Subsidy. Employees who select the Modified Benefit Option shall be eligible to receive a Dental Premium Subsidy (DPS) in an amount that would offset a portion of the cost of dental plan premiums charged to eligible employees. The DPS shall be applied to dental insurance premiums only and shall not be applicable to medical insurance premiums. The applicable DPS amount shall be paid directly to the provider of the County-sponsored dental plan in which the eligible employee has enrolled. The DPS shall not be considered compensation earnable for purposes of calculating benefits or contributions for the San Bernardino County EmployeesRetirement Association. In no case, shall the DPS exceed the cost of the dental insurance premium for the coverage selected.
Dental Premium Subsidy. (Fire Suppression Aides Only) Fire Suppression Aide IIs and IIIs in regular positions scheduled for a minimum of forty (40) hours per pay period, paid at least one-half plus one hour of their scheduled hours, and are enrolled in both a District/County-sponsored medical plan and dental plan, are eligible to receive a Dental Premium Subsidy (DPS) as follows:

  • Continuing Education Allowance (a) A registered nurse or enrolled nurse who holds a continuing education qualification in a clinical field, in addition to the qualification leading to registration or enrolment, shall be paid an allowance subject to the conditions set out in this clause.

  • Parental Allowance (a) An employee who has been granted parental leave without pay, shall be paid a parental allowance in accordance with the terms of the Supplemental Unemployment Benefit (SUB) Plan described in paragraphs (c) to (i), providing he or she:
