DEPARTMENTAL MEETINGS. Departmental Executives will implement the following policy:
1. The BMA may request, monthly, that a meeting be scheduled between the Management Representative or Executive Officer of the BMA and the Department Executive to discuss items of mutual interest. At the option of the BMA, the President of the BMA may be present at such meetings. The Department Executive shall make every effort to comply with this request.
2. Department Executives are encouraged to consult with employee representatives on departmental problems, future actions, and related matters.
3. In addition to the monthly meeting, Department Executives are encouraged to meet with department representatives when it would be to everyone's advantage to meet immediately.
DEPARTMENTAL MEETINGS. All employees attending required departmental meetings outside of the employees’ regularly scheduled work day shall be paid their regular rate of pay.
DEPARTMENTAL MEETINGS. Unless otherwise agreed, Union representatives shall not be permitted to attend meetings or conferences called by agency/departmental personnel to attend to matters arising out of the normal course of agency/departmental activities.
DEPARTMENTAL MEETINGS. 1. Any full-time regular employee who is required to attend a departmental "troop" meeting scheduled by the Director outside of his or her regular work shift shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular hourly rate for such off-duty attendance. An employee may choose, with the consent and approval of supervision, to take compensatory time off at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) hours off for each such hour of off-duty attendance in lieu of such pay. There shall be a minimum of two (2) hours pay or compensatory time at this rate when such meetings are outside the regular work shift.
2. The Xxxxxxx will be notified in advance of all departmental "troop" meetings. It is the Xxxxxxx'x responsibility to attend the meeting called on his or her shift and to appoint a designee from those employees who are on duty to attend other shift meetings.
DEPARTMENTAL MEETINGS. Two employee representatives selected by Service Employees International Union and two employee representatives designated by management will attend meetings at the request of either party, but not less than one meeting annually, for purposes of improving communications and addressing department matters within the departments of Transportation, Food Service, Maintenance, Custodial, and Grounds. Any portion of such meetings which occurs within the unit member's regular work day shall be on a paid release basis.
DEPARTMENTAL MEETINGS. Unless otherwise agreed, representatives or employees of the Association shall not be permitted to attend meetings or conferences called by departmental personnel to attend to matters arising out of the normal course of departmental activities, except that this Section shall not be deemed to supersede any other Section of the Memorandum or Government Code Section 3500, et seq.
DEPARTMENTAL MEETINGS. Unless otherwise agreed, representatives or employees of employee organizations shall not be permitted to attend meetings or conferences called by departmental personnel to attend to matters arising out of the normal course of departmental activities.
DEPARTMENTAL MEETINGS. Unless otherwise agreed, representatives or employees of ACMEA (Sheriff’s Sworn Unit) shall not be permitted to attend meetings or conferences called by departmental personnel to attend to matters arising out of the normal course of departmental activities, except that this Section shall not be deemed to supersede any other Section of the Memorandum or Government Code Section 3500, et seq.
DEPARTMENTAL MEETINGS. Departmental meetings are those meetings called by majority of staff in a given speciality area, or by Department Heads as designated in this contract. Where practicable, teachers shall participate in a reasonable number of department meetings.
DEPARTMENTAL MEETINGS. The Hospital agrees to hold Departmental meetings on an as- needed basis, but at least quarterly, with unit employees. Written minutes shall be kept of all such meetings and will be made available to unit employees.
