Departmental Reinstatement List. 1. The name of every regular employee who is laid off for longer than one (1) pay period due to a reduction in force, or who is laid off in lieu of reassignment under subsection (C) above, shall be placed on Departmental Reinstatement Lists for all classifications of a currently equal or lower salary plan/grade in which the employee ever held regular status, provided the department is allocated any positions of such classification.

Departmental Reinstatement List. A. The name of every regular employee who is laid off, or transfers or demotes to a formerly held classification in the same department for longer than one pay period due to a reduction in force shall be placed on a Departmental Reinstatement List. Vacancies to be filled within a department shall be offered, first in order of seniority, to individuals named on the Departmental Reinstatement List who at the time of the reduction in force, held a position in the same job classification within the department as the vacancy to be filled. The department, for reasonable cause, may require a reinstated employee to serve a probationary period of 1040 hours.

  • Additional Insured Status and Scope of Coverage The County of Los Angeles, its Special Districts, Elected Officials, Officers, Agents, Employees and Volunteers (collectively County and its Agents) shall be provided additional insured status under Contractor’s General Liability policy with respect to liability arising out of Contractor’s ongoing and completed operations performed on behalf of the County.
