Common use of Designated Holidays Clause in Contracts

Designated Holidays. i) A designated paid holiday shall account for seven decimal five (7.5) hours. ii) When an employee works on a Designated Paid Holiday, the employee shall be compensated, in addition to the pay for the hours specified in sub-paragraph (i), at time and one-half (1 ½) up to his regular scheduled hours of work and at double (2) time for all hours worked in excess of his regular scheduled hours.
