Discipline Guidelines. Discipline is an essential part of child rearing and when used positively it contributes to the healthy growth and development of a child and establishes positive patterns of behavior in preparation for adulthood. The objective of discipline is to promote behaviors beneficial to the child’s development and welfare and to change and/or eliminate behaviors, which are injurious to his or her well-being. Therefore, we encourage positive discipline as the most important aspect of child rearing practices for children and youth who are placed in the care of TFI Family Services, Inc. The Xxxxxx Care Program believes that discipline is an integral part of healthy parent-child relationships. Although many have confused the concept of discipline with punishment, in the purest sense it really means “to teach.” Xxxxxx care staff makes the assumption that youth who misbehave have not been consistently taught proper behavior and self-control. We accept the challenge, as xxxxxx parents, of being the teachers of acceptable, responsible, situational behaviors. In order to accomplish this mission, xxxxxx parents use several strategies such as: Create and maintain a secure, safe, pleasant, nurturing, living and learning environment. Clearly define expectations. Repeat them frequently. Stop behavior immediately that is dangerous to self or others. Consequent undesirable behavior in a positive manner. Behavior falling outside of defined limits can be addressed in several ways depending upon the severity and situation. There are laws that protect adults against actions, which many children must endure and suffer under the guise of discipline. Many children who are in the care of DCF have previously suffered too much physical pain, fear, humiliation, and emotional stress. We cannot perpetuate this when we assume the positive roles in our child-rearing practices of which positive discipline is an essential part. Therefore TFI Family Services, Inc. does not view as positive, acceptable discipline any action administered in a fashion, which may cause any child to suffer physical, psychological or emotional pain; any form of corporal punishment; use of aversive stimuli; withholding nutrition or hydration; forced exercise to eliminate behavior; punitive work assignment; punishment by peers; or group punishment/discipline for individuals.   • Use Guidelines 3.3.1. The JAGGAER Applications are provided to Client for use only as expressly set forth in the Agreement, and Client will not use the JAGGAER Applications in whole or in part for any other use or purpose. In particular, Client will not, and will not allow any third party to: (i) decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or attempt to reconstruct, identify or discover any source code, underlying ideas, underlying user interface techniques or algorithms of the JAGGAER Applications by any means, or disclose any of the foregoing; (ii) except as expressly set forth in the Agreement, provide, rent, lease, lend, or use the JAGGAER Applications for timesharing, subscription, or service bureau purposes; (iii) sublicense, transfer or assign the JAGGAER Applications or any of the rights or licenses granted under the Agreement; or remove or obscure any trademark, product identification, proprietary marking, copyright or other notices provided with the JAGGAER Applications or related documentation.

  • Applicable Guidelines The Sentencing Guidelines to be considered in this case are those in effect at the time of sentencing.   • Discipline Policy A Discipline Policy Committee will be formed upon the request of the Association or the Board of Education. The committee will be comprised of members appointed by the Board and the Association. By the appropriate means determined by the Board, families will be informed of the District's policies regarding student behavior and discipline procedures. Neuronetics reserves the right, at any time, to: (ix) require Customer to change or discontinue Customer’s use of the Neuronetics Marks or the Marketing Material if Neuronetics, in its sole discretion, believes that such use is detrimental to Products, the Neuronetics Marks, the Marketing Material, or Neuronetics’ business interests.; and (x) inspect to ascertain that the Neuronetics Marks and the Marketing Collateral are used only for services performed using Products. Customer will promptly comply with Neuronetics’ requests regarding the use of the Neuronetics Marks and the Marketing Collateral. Customer will not adopt, use, or seek to register any trademarks, service marks, trade dress, other proprietary elements, or other indicia of origin, including logos and designs, that are confusingly similar to any of the Neuronetics Marks, and Customer will not combine any of the Neuronetics Marks with any other trademark, service mark, other mark, trade dress, other proprietary element, other indicia of origin, logo, design, word, term, device, logo or other matter. Customer will not adopt, use, or register any domain name that incorporates any of the Neuronetics Marks. Customer will not in any way use the Neuronetics Marks in a manner that could cause any confusion with, diminution in value of, or other adverse effect to the Neuronetics Marks. All goodwill derived from the use of the Neuronetics Marks will inure solely to the benefit of Neuronetics.
