Department Manager. If the matter is not resolved to the employee’s satisfaction at Step 1, the employee may present the grievance in writing to the relevant manager (and/or designated representative) within fourteen (14) calendar days from, receipt of the supervisor’s written response to Step 1. Provided, however, if the Step 1 immediate supervisor is the Department Manager, the grievance shall proceed to Step 3. A meeting between the employee (and the Union Xxxxxxx /Representative, if requested by the employee) and the relevant manager (and/or designated representative) will be held within fourteen(14) days for the purpose of resolving the grievance. The relevant manager will issue a written response within fourteen(14) calendar days following the meeting.
Department Manager. The grievance in the first instance will be presented to the employee’s Department Manager in writing setting forth the detailed facts concerning the nature of the grievance, the contractual provision allegedly violated and relief sought within ten (10) business days of the alleged breach of the express terms of this Agreement or within ten (10) business days of the date the employee knew or reasonably should have known of the alleged breach. The employee and the Department Manager or designee shall meet within five (5) business days from the Department Manager’s receipt of the grievance, or mutually agreed to date to try and resolve the grievance. The employee may request the presence of a Union representative at such meeting. Every effort shall be made to settle the grievance at Step 1. The Department Manager or designee will respond to the grievance within five (5) business days of the meeting.
Department Manager. If the grievance is not resolved at Step I, it shall be presented in writing to the Department Manager within seven (7) days of the receipt of the Supervisor’s denial of the grievance. The Department Manager shall discuss the grievance with the Union and the grievant within seven (7) days after the grievance is presented to them. A written answer to the grievance shall be issued by the Department Manager within seven
Department Manager. This shall mean the Assistant General Manager – Operations for distribution, production, and CIRP employees, and Assistant General Manager – Controller for the finance employees, and the Director of Administration for the administrative and customer service employees.
Department Manager. 2-1-1 A department shall be defined as an administrative grouping of secondary teachers, i.e., language arts, math, science, social studies, technical arts, etc., or combination thereof, with a Department Manager acting as liaison between the department and school administration. Such Department Managers shall not be considered administrative employees. The duties of said Department Managers shall include the following:
21-1 1-1 Survey the current and ongoing needs of the department, so as to assist the principal in developing departmental budgets.

If the matter is not settled at Step 1 level above, the Department Manager and Union representative, with the Employee and any other necessary witnesses present, shall discuss the matter within five (5) working days from the supervisor's answer in paragraph (a) above, and attempt to resolve the matter. At this level and prior to the Step 2 discussion, the grievance form shall be filed by the Union Representative with the Department manager and a number assigned to the grievance by the Employee Resources Department. Disposition of the grievance at this level shall occur within three (3) working days following the completion of the discussion and the disposition will be entered on the grievance form and a copy given to the Union Representative. Grievances settled at Step 1 or Step 2 shall not be considered to be precedent setting.
Department Manager. Is the staff person of the Catholic Charities of Louisville department responsible for the submission and implementation of the Scope of Work, including the submission of the program and financial reports throughout the MOU period. The department manager will coordinate services with the CC-KOR project manager. The Department Manager may or may not be the Department Director.
