Educational Internships. For active employees approved to complete a documented unpaid internship within the District, upon return to active status by the approved return date, the employee will return to the same position held prior to the leave.

Educational Internships. Interns refer to persons who study and work in between semes- ters or who alongside their studies acquire professional experi- ence required by the degree. The parties recognise that interns on internships required by their education or interns who are acquiring professional expe- rience are no substitute for companies’ staff. Internships are also not intended to affect the employment relationships of the staff employed by a company. It is necessary to confirm these aspects locally between the employer and the shop xxxxxxx or, in the ab- sence of a shop xxxxxxx, between the employer and salaried em- ployees either before arranging internships or when the human resources and training plan pursuant to the Finnish Act on Co-op- eration within Undertakings is being reviewed. The parties also concur that the provisions of the Finnish Employ- ment Contracts Act concerning any reduction of workforce or the obligation to offer additional work or re-employment do not pre- clude offering of the aforesaid internships if the aforementioned local procedure has been followed.

  • Internships The Hospital may establish internships for the purpose of meeting future projected nursing shortages and/or providing career opportunities where there are no internal qualified candidates for job postings. In such circumstances, the implementation and guidelines of such an arrangement will be determined locally by the Hospital and the Union subject to the following: Internships are designed to develop the Hospital’s staff in order to fill positions for which there are currently no qualified internal candidates and/or for which shortages are predicted within a five (5) year period. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.

  • School Nurses The salary of a nurse with a graduate nursing degree will be 90% of the XX Xxxx of Schedule A. The salary of a nurse with a BS Nursing Degree will be the same as the XX Xxxx of Schedule A.
