Educational Internships. For active employees approved to complete a documented unpaid internship within the District, upon return to active status by the approved return date, the employee will return to the same position held prior to the leave.

Educational Internships. Interns refer to persons who study and work in between semesters or alongside the studies acquire professional experience required by the degree. The parties recognise that interns on internships required by the education or interns who are acquiring professional experience are no substitute for companies’ staff. Internships are also not intended to affect the employment relationships of the staff employed by a company. It is necessary to confirm these aspects locally between the employer and the shop xxxxxxx or, in the absence of a shop xxxxxxx, between the employer and salaried employees either be- fore arranging internship or when the human resources and train- ing plan pursuant to the Finnish Act on Co-operation within Under- takings is being reviewed. The parties concur that the provisions of the Finnish Employment Contracts Act concerning reduction of workforce, obligation to of- fer additional work or re-employment do not preclude offering of the aforesaid internships, if the aforementioned local procedure have been followed.

  • Internships The Hospital may establish internships for the purpose of meeting future projected nursing shortages and/or providing career opportunities where there are no internal qualified candidates for job postings. In such circumstances, the implementation and guidelines of such an arrangement will be determined locally by the Hospital and the Union subject to the following: Internships are designed to develop the Hospital’s staff in order to fill positions for which there are currently no qualified internal candidates and/or for which shortages are predicted within a five (5) year period. Internships enable hospitals to maximize the use of qualified internal staff to meet their human resources needs, while at the same time providing career development opportunities for their employees.   • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training The state and the PBA recognize the importance of supervisor training programs to develop management skills in our law enforcement supervisors. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.

  • School Nurses The salary of a nurse with a graduate nursing degree will be 90% of the XX Xxxx of Schedule A. The salary of a nurse with a BS Nursing Degree will be the same as the XX Xxxx of Schedule A.

  • EDUCATIONAL INCENTIVES As part of the District’s commitment to enhance the knowledge, skills, abilities and opportunities for promotion of its classified employees, the District offers the following programs:

  • Schools The Project must apply for concurrency review at Lake County Public Schools. The school district has a specific application process. The Project must be shown to have appropriate school concurrency before building permits are issued.

  • Educational Assistants Teachers are responsible to assign instructional duties to Educational Assistants who are allocated to students in their classroom by the Principal.

  • Professional and Education Leaves (a) Leave of absence with pay or without pay may be granted to employees to attend professional and educational meetings, courses, or other events which may be judged beneficial to the employee's professional development, especially as it relates to her responsibilities with the Employer.
