Even if a teacher meets the minimum contract day requirement, any returning teacher having an evaluation result of “Improvement Necessary” or “Ineffective” shall not be eligible to receive any salary increase

Eligibility Requirement for Salary Increase. Any returning teacher having an evaluation result of "Improvement Necessary" or "Ineffective" shall not be eligible to receive any salary increase. To be eligible, a teacher must have worked at least 120 contracted days at a public school during the previous school year and did not receive a rating of improvement necessary or ineffective on their summative teacher evaluation. At least 60 of the minimum 120 contracted days must have been at MVCSC the previous school year. New hire salary will be established in accordance with 3.7 of this Contract.

  • Salary Increase 46.01 Effective July 1, 2020 an increase equal to 1% will be added to the job rates and to the salaries of all employees. Effective July 1, 2021 an increase equal to 1% will be added to the job rates and to the salaries of all employees. Effective July 1, 2022 an increase equal to 1% will be added to the job rates and to the salaries of all employees.

  • General Salary Increase 1. Effective with the start of the pay week commencing closest to September 1, 2013, employees shall be provided an across-the-board salary increase of one percent (1%). Salary schedules shall be increased accordingly.

  • Salary Increases (a) The Employer agrees to pay the negotiated salary increases to every employee not later than the second month following the month in which this Agreement is signed and not later than the month following the month in which any subsequent salary increases become effective.

  • Submission of Salary Increases Recommendations for salary increases must be made to be effective on the first day of the month and must be submitted prior to the proposed effective date. However, retroactive six (6) month and annual salary increases to correct errors or oversights and retroactive payments resulting from grievance settlements shall be authorized. The proposed effective date for retroactive six (6) month and annual salary increases must be the first day of the month no more than twelve (12) months prior to the time of submitting the correcting recommendation.

  • Salary Increments The Employer may grant an increment for meritorious service after an Employee has served for a period of twelve (12) months following the day established in Article 25.07 or twelve (12) months following the date of a change in his rate of compensation as established in Articles 25.04, 25.05, or 25.06.

  • Time Off in Lieu of Payment for Overtime An employee may elect, with the consent of the Company, to take time off in lieu of payment of overtime at a time or times agreed with the Company. Overtime taken as time off during ordinary time hours will be taken at the ordinary time rate, that is an hour for each hour worked.

  • Increment Date for Salary Grid Placement Upon achieving one (1) year of experience, an increment shall be awarded on the first of the month following the month in which the experience accumulation is earned.

  • Status of Salary Schedule The salary schedules are not to be construed as part of a teacher’s continuing contract. In the event a successor Agreement is not entered into prior to the expiration date of this Agreement, a teacher shall be compensated according to the previous year’s compensation until such time that a successor Agreement is executed.

  • Partial Employer Contribution - Basic Eligibility The following employees covered by this Agreement receive the full Employer Contribution for basic life coverage, and at the employee's option, a partial Employer Contribution for health and dental coverages if they are scheduled to work at least fifty (50) percent but less than seventy-five (75) percent of the time.
