Emergency Medical Transportation. COUNTY shall only pay for medical 23 ambulance or medical van transportation to and from designated residential substance use disorder 24 treatment programs or health facilities through the COUNTY’s Medical Transportation Agreement 25 under the following conditions:
26 a) Ambulance transportation shall be used for services requiring immediate 27 attention for a Client due to any sudden or serious illness or injury requiring immediate medical 28 attention, where delay in providing such services may aggravate the medical condition or cause the loss 29 of life.
30 b) When any Client needs non-emergency transportation as identified in 31 Subparagraph 2) below, and CONTRACTOR cannot transport Client due to unforeseen 32 circumstances including, but not limited to, staffing constraints, CONTRACTOR vehicle access within
33 a timely manner or Client’s physical condition and/or limitations.
34 c) CONTRACTOR shall utilize the COUNTY’s Ambulance Monthly Rotation 35 Call Log to request transportation services from Ambulance Providers designated for transportation 36 within the city of the CONTRACTOR’s facility for each said month as identified on the log.
37 d) CONTRACTOR shall use its best efforts to contact Ambulance Providers 1 identified on the Monthly Rotation Call Log as those providers who offer van transportation services if 2 and when an ambulance is not required.
3 e) CONTRACTOR shall be held liable and may be billed by the Ambulance 4 Provider for services requested by CONTRACTOR that are deemed inappropriate for use and not a 5 covered service under this section by the COUNTY.
Emergency Medical Transportation in the event of a Client’s involvement in a medical emergency or Cartrack receiving a Crash Detection indicating an Accident, Cartrack shall arrange and coordinate the most appropriate method of emergency medical transportation. Beneficiaries will be transported, by road or air ambulance, to the nearest medical facility capable of providing adequate care.
Emergency Medical Transportation. Pre-hospital If the initial emergency medical transportation was provided by the EMS call centre, the following additional benefits are available to the member where applicable and medically justifiable.
Emergency Medical Transportation. Medically Necessary ambulance transportation to the nearest appropriate facility where prompt medical services are provided in an emergency such as accident, acute illness or injury.
Emergency Medical Transportation. Transportation by ambulance, specialized medical vehicle (SMV) or county-approved or tribe-approved common carrier as defined under Wis. Admin Code §DHS 107.23(1)(d) when immediate medical treatment or examination is needed to deal with or guard against a worsening of the recipient’s condition. Wis. Admin Code §DHS 107.23.

Emergency Medical Transportation. Ambulance services for an Emergency Medical Condition.
Emergency Medical Transportation. COUNTY shall only pay for medical ambulance 34 or medical van transportation to and from designated Residential Substance User Disorder Treatment 35 Programs or health facilities through the COUNTY’s Medical Transportation Agreement under the 36 following conditions:
Emergency Medical Transportation. In case of an emergency, I give permission for transportation to any medical facility or hospital.
Emergency Medical Transportation. Pre-hospital
a. You will be transported to a Government hospital (and not a private hospital) in the event that You do not have sufficient and current medical aid cover, or in the event that the Netcare 911 personnel are unable to establish whether You are a paid-up member of a medical aid, e.g. due to the fact that You are unconscious;
b. The decision as to whether Your circumstances constitute a Medical Emergency for which Emergency Medical Transportation will be provided shall be in Netcare 911’s sole and absolute discretion;
c. The choice of which Medical Facility You are transported to shall be in Netcare 911’s sole and absolute discretion. You waive any and all claims against Us should You suffer any loss and or damages as a direct or indirect result of Netcare 911’s choice of Medical Facility.
d. Medical considerations including the degree of urgency, Your state and fitness to travel and other relevant considerations including, but not limited to, airport availability, weather conditions and distance to be covered as assessed by the Netcare 911 doctor and support staff will determine whether Emergency Medical Transportation will be provided by medically equipped fixed-wing air ambulance, helicopter, scheduled commercial flight or road ambulance.
