The Emergency Preparedness Training clause requires parties to provide or participate in training sessions focused on responding to emergencies relevant to the agreement's context, such as fire, medical, or natural disaster scenarios. Emergency Preparedness Training. All bargaining unit members shall undergo training in emergency preparedness (including the District’s Disaster Policy and Procedures – i.e., earthquakes, fires, blackouts, etc.) – in order that they will be able to respond as Emergency Disaster Workers when the need arises.
Emergency Preparedness Training. The TEMA, in coordination with the DOE, shall develop and provide an annual training plan and implementation procedures based on the State plan and conduct training to support local and state governments capability to respond to emergency situations arising from incidents that may occur at the ▇▇▇ sites. Training activities shall include: Conducting emergency drills and exercises and other training jointly with DOE for local governments and emergency response personnel who could be affected by an emergency at the ▇▇▇ sites; Providing hazardous material (radiological and non-radiological) training to potentially affected TN and local response organizations in conjunction with DOE; Developing and maintaining the skills of personnel in TN and local agencies to execute ▇▇▇-related emergency plans effectively; Hosting of emergency management training sessions and meetings at TN emergency management facilities to coordinate emergency management issues related to the site; Conducting or attending training in detection equipment and personal protection equipment for responders to incidents at the ▇▇▇ sites; Participating in hazards/consequence assessment training specific to ▇▇▇ site operations for already qualified personnel.
