Employee Protection/Safety. All employees have the responsibility of maintaining safe conditions in their work areas and making safety a part of the normal work routine. Failure to observe safe work practices and procedures may be cause for disciplinary action including termination. Scottsdale Unified School District shall furnish to each of its employees a safe working environment and shall comply with occupational safety and health standards. Employees are required to: 1) observe all safety regulations given orally or in writing, 2) use and wear required safety equipment and 3) safeguard co-workers and others affected by the work being performed. Employees shall immediately report to their supervisor any accident, illness or disease or unsafe working condition arising from their employment that affects the employee or anyone else. Classified employees are expected to follow appropriate safety guidelines including Policy GBGB – Staff Personal Security and Safety, Policy GBGCB – Staff Health and Safety, Emergency Response Plans (ERP) and other applicable state and federal laws.

Employee Protection/Safety. Threats Any employee who is threatened with harm by an individual or a group while carrying out assigned duties shall immediately notify the building principal or supervisor. The principal or supervisor shall then immediately notify the Superintendent’s office of the threat and together they shall take immediate steps in cooperation with the employee to provide every reasonable precaution for the employee’s safety. Precautionary steps, including any advisable legal action, shall be reported to the Superintendent’s office at the earliest possible time. (GBGB-R)

  • EMPLOYEE PROTECTION Nothing in this Agreement or otherwise limits Executive’s ability to communicate directly with and provide information, including documents, not otherwise protected from disclosure by any applicable law or privilege to the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”), any other federal, state or local governmental agency or commission (“Government Agency”) or self-regulatory organization regarding possible legal violations, without disclosure to the Company. The Company may not retaliate against Executive for any of these activities, and nothing in this Agreement or otherwise requires Executive to waive any monetary award or other payment that Executive might become entitled to from the SEC or any other Government Agency or self-regulatory organization.

  • Employee Protection Provision a) Where the employer is contracting out, selling or transferring all or part of the business, including the part of the business where the employee is employed, the following provisions will apply:

  • ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY AND HEALTH PROTECTION (a) Seller shall perform this Agreement in a manner that ensures adequate protection for workers, the public, and the environment, and shall be accountable for actions of itself and its lower-tier subcontractors, agents and employees. Seller shall exercise a degree of care commensurate with the work and the associated hazards.   • Wetlands Protection Xxxxxxxx requiring protection under Executive Order 11990 are shown on Sale Area Map. Vehicular or skidding equipment shall not be used in such wetlands, except where roads, landings, and tractor roads are approved under B5.1 or B6.422. Additional measures needed to protect such areas are provided in C6.62.

  • ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION STANDARDS CONTRACTOR shall be in compliance with the Clean Air Act (Title 42 USC Section 7401 et seq.), the Clean Water Act (Title 33 USC Section 1251 et seq.), Executive Order 11738 and Environmental Protection Agency, hereinafter referred to as “EPA,” regulations (Title 40 CFR), as any may now exist or be hereafter amended.
