EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE PREMIUM REDUCTIONS. 39.01 The Employee’s portion of all monies from Employment Insurance Commission Premium Reductions shall be returned to all eligible Employees as a lump sum payment once each year or when an eligible Employee terminates or transfers to an Employment status which is not eligible for the payment. The payment to eligible Employees shall be processed in December each year.

EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE PREMIUM REDUCTIONS. The Union in recognition of the personnel benefits provided under Article 28 agrees that the University retain the 5/12 portion of the Employment Insurance premium reduction referred to in the Employment Insurance Act and Regulations. The University agrees to report annually on the E.I. premium reduction benefit and cost of personnel benefits pursuant to Article 28.
EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE PREMIUM REDUCTIONS. 45.01 The Employee's portion of all monies from the Employment Insurance Commission Premium Reductions will be retained by the Employer and utilized by the Employer for various wellness initiatives / programs in accordance with the Employment Insurance Regulations.
EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE PREMIUM REDUCTIONS. 35.01 The Employee's portion of all monies from Employment Insurance Commission Premium Reductions shall be used by the parties to cover the premium costs of the health benefits and insurance plans.
EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE PREMIUM REDUCTIONS. 40.01 The Employer’s portion of all monies from the Employment Insurance Premium Reductions shall be administered for the benefit of Employees by the Employer in accordance with the Employments Insurance Commission’s regulations. Upon request, a summary of the purposes for which these funds are utilized shall be provided to the Union. The Employer is not eligible for the rebate of a portion of Employment Insurance contributions. In the event the Employer becomes eligible for the rebate, they shall make the appropriate application forthwith. The Employers agrees the 5/12th portion for the employees shall be decided by the Union Bargaining Committee and will advise the Employer of their decision.
EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE PREMIUM REDUCTIONS. 41.01 The Employment Insurance Premium Reduction will be returned to eligible Employees.
41.02 The reduction returned to eligible Employees will be reduced by the amount employees have had returned to them during the year by way of payroll credit on each pay cheque.
41.03 It is expected that the payment will be processed in December of each year. In the event the timing of the reimbursement payment changes, the Employer will notify Employees and the Union of such change.

The parties recognize the contribution of these Employees and wish to take steps to encourage these Employees to remain in the system. Therefore, the following programs shall be implemented.

30.01 Part-time Employees
(a) Hours of Work
7.01 (a) (i) Regular hours of work for Part-time Employees, exclusive of meal periods, shall be as scheduled by the Employer but shall be less than those for Full-time Employees. They may be less than seven point seven five (7.75) hours per day and in any event, shall be less than 77.5 hours in a 14 calendar day period.
