Evaluation Objectives. The evaluation of unit members is directed to the following objectives:
A. assessment of the professional performance of the unit member;
B. improvement of performance and quality of instruction; and,
C. to provide one of the factors which may be considered in making subsequent appointments.
Evaluation Objectives. Since this is a Demonstration Initiative, evaluation and learning are key goals. Evaluation objectives include:
Evaluation Objectives. Prior to the first evaluation in an academic year, non-tenured faculty members shall be apprised of the objectives, methods and materials being used in the formal observation and evaluation of the faculty member’s performance.
Evaluation Objectives. The evaluation process provides information to the regular faculty member being evaluated, hereinafter called the evaluee, and to the district about performance in the four (4) major categories of the regular faculty job description: student contact-related duties, district/department service, professional development and other required job duties. These are described in the regular faculty job description as appropriate for the employment category. (See Article 17: Job Descriptions.)
Evaluation Objectives. The primary purpose of evaluation shall be to assess the effectiveness of a teacher in the performance of the teacher’s professional duties.
Evaluation Objectives. The purpose of this evaluation procedure is:
A. To provide for continuous and constructive improvement of the performance of the professional teaching staff through objective evaluation of the individual teaching process and to recognize superior teaching performance.
B. To support a recommendation regarding:
1. The granting or withholding of tenure and/or non- renewal of a teaching contract.
2. Any suspension or termination of contract made in accordance with Sections 3319.16 (inclusive) of the Ohio Revised Code.
Evaluation Objectives. The primary purpose of ancillary staff evaluations shall be to improve the effectiveness of an ancillary staff in the performance of the ancillary staff’s professional duties.
Evaluation Objectives. The objectives of the evaluation are:
a) To identify skills, attitudes, abilities and resources which can lead to the achievement of the district goals and standards for the teaching profession.
b) Advance the professional learning and practice of teachers individually and collectively in the School District.
c) Inform instruction.
d) Assist teachers and administrators in identifying, implementing, and supporting best educational best practices that will provide the greatest opportunity for student learning and growth.
Evaluation Objectives. The objectives of the evaluation are:
a) To identify skills, attitudes, abilities and resources which can lead to the achievement of the district goals and standards for the teaching profession.
b) To improve and reinforce the skills attitudes and abilities which enable an employee to be effective in achieving district goals and standards for the teaching profession.
c) To help educators self-assess, collaboratively discuss self-assessment results with peers or supervisor, and develop specific goals and plans for their Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP).
d) To identify and remediate weaknesses which prevent an employee from achieving the goals of the district and the standards of the teaching profession.
e) To provide the Board with an instrument to be utilized in employment decisions.
Evaluation Objectives. To provide teachers with a continuous process of evaluation and professional growth.
