Excess Long Service Leave. 46.4.1 Any staff member whose accrued long service leave entitlement equals or exceeds 18 weeks may be directed in writing to take a minimum of 6 weeks of their accrued long service leave entitlement within the following 12 month period.
Excess Long Service Leave. 40.1. Employees will be notified in writing (not less than 5 leave days prior) when their long service leave balances are approaching the maximum allowable limit of 75 days.

  • Long Service Leave All employees shall be entitled to long service leave in accordance with the relevant State Legislation. The employer will ensure that any registration necessary for the purposes of portable long service schemes will be undertaken.

  • Taking of Long Service Leave (a) The employer shall give to each employee at least one month's notice of the date from which it is proposed that the employee's long service leave shall be given and taken. Such leave shall be taken as soon as practicable having regard to the needs of the facility, or, where the employer and the employee agree, such leave may be postponed to an agreed date.

  • Military Service Leave The Employer and the Union agree that the matter of leave of absence for an employee during the period of his/her military service with the armed forces of the United States, and of his/her reinstatement thereafter, shall be governed by applicable statutes.

  • Emergency Service Leave ‌ Where employees' services are required for emergency operations by request from the Provincial Emergency Program or appropriate police authority, leave from work as required may be granted without loss of basic pay. If any remuneration, other than for expenses, is received, it shall be remitted to the Employer.

  • Jury Service Leave 44.1 An employee required to attend for jury service will be entitled to have their pay made up by the employer to equal their ordinary rate for eight (8) hours (inclusive of accrued entitlements prescribed by Clause 31 – Hours of work) per day plus fares whilst meeting this requirement. The employee will give the employer proof of such attendance and the amount received in respect of such jury service.

  • Public Service Leave An employee who is elected or appointed to public office shall be entitled to a leave of absence without pay not to exceed 180 days per year in accordance with state law.

  • Extended Maternity Leave a. Teachers granted leave under the above mentioned paragraphs, who choose not to return to work at the expiration of that leave may apply for extended maternity leave, four (4) weeks prior to the start of a semester or term or by May 31st in respect to leave expiring on June 30th.

  • Developer Compensation for Emergency Services If, during an Emergency State, the Developer provides services at the request or direction of the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer will be compensated for such services in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.
