Facility Consultative Committees. The parties to this Agreement emphasise that two-way communication is paramount and in this respect the Company and employees commit to the establishment of a FCC at both the Benalla and Mulwala facilities. The members of the FCC will consist of senior site management and shop stewards from each of the unions with account taken of union membership structures and numbers at the site. FCC will meet on a regular basis to be defined by the FCC at each site. Subjects to be addressed may include but not limited to: • The introduction of a new technology. • The physical aspect of the employee’s working environment. • Major project and skill requirements. • Obtain and discuss the view and concerns of the employees. • Discuss management proposals and the effects of proposed changes on employees. • Identify problems and work cooperatively to develop solutions in all areas of the operation. • Site performance. • Quality evaluation. • Training and related matters. These committees will not act in substitution for the established industrial relations and employee representation arrangements for dealing with disputes, grievances and negotiations.
