Family allowance. The bank pays employees a family allowance, the amount of which is de- termined by the social partners. Family allowance may be claimed by em- ployees who are in receipt of child allowance or education allowance under cantonal law and Art. 28 of this Agreement on Conditions of Employment for Bank Employees for children born after 1 January 1993. Family allowance is paid only as long as child allowance is drawn. Should an employee receive only a reduced child allowance, the family allow- ance is reduced accordingly. Part-time employees receive family allowance in proportion to their percent- age contractual hours.
Family allowance. For Whom? All recruited fellows who have family* at the time of recruitment. How much? EUR 500 per month What if the family status changes during the project? The mobility allowance is calculated on the family status at the time of recruitment to the project. It does not change. *‘Family’ means persons linked to the researcher by marriage (or a relationship with equivalent status to a marriage recognised by the legislation of the country where this relationship was formalised) or dependent children who are actually being maintained by the researcher.

Family allowance. Child and family allowances are paid in accordance with cantonal regulations and the Federal Law on Family Allowances. Only one allowance is paid for the same child. The legally sufficient proof (Familienbüchlein/Form E411) for the right to receive child or family allowances must be submitted at the beginning of the employment relationship. Proof submitted late will be taken into account in the next salary period at the earliest. Payment shall be made after receipt of the decision of the compensation office.

Family allowance. All married employees hereof, regardless of gender, shall be granted a family allowance of 10%, calculated on the sum of the remuneration of Articles 3 and 4.1 (basic + previous service). In accordance with the provisions of Article 20 of Law 1849/89 that otherwise apply, unmarried parents, widows and divorcees shall also be the beneficiaries of the above allowance.
