Federation President. The Federation President may perform duties which cannot be performed properly other than during normal working hours or are a result of an emergency situation, provided that such duties do not interfere with the Federation President's or other faculty's instructional or other university responsibilities.

Federation President. The Federation President will be given the choice of either three (3) credit hours of release time or three (3) credit hours of overload pay per semester for performing union-related duties. The Federation President will also be given an optional one (1) credit hour of release time or overload pay per semester that can be used by the Federation President or assigned as overload pay to a designee for performing union-related duties. The Federation agrees to pay the College for the credit hours based on the current overload pay rate.
Federation President. The Federation President will be relieved of all assigned duties other than classroom teaching assignments.

Federation President. The Federation President shall be permitted to engage in Federation activity before student arrival time and after student departure time so long as such activity does not interfere with District assigned duties.
Federation President. The College shall partially release the Federation President or designee from regular faculty workload so that they may perform responsibilities relating to the administration of this Agreement. This release time shall be at the rate of 120 hours (or up to 16 days) per academic year. The release time shall be scheduled, by agreement with the Federation President’s or designee’s xxxx or other supervisor, to minimize the impact on the services provided to the Federation President’s or designee’s students or work unit. That agreement may provide for allocating this release time over more than one quarter. The Federation President or designee shall arrange with their xxxx/supervisor for any necessary substitute(s), and shall appropriately request the leave and report each absence in accordance with College procedures.
