FEDERATION ACTIVITIES. The Federation is granted use of available School facilities during non-teaching hours subject to the current School Committee policy on the use of school facilities at no charge to the Federation. In addition, the Federation Officers and/or Chairperson of the Grievance Committee shall have time available during non-teaching periods to conduct duties relevant to this Contract. They will secure approval of the appropriate administrators to leave their assigned areas, or to conduct activities in another assigned area. In no case will internal Federation business, e.g., membership solicitation, dues collection, etc., be conducted during this time.

FEDERATION ACTIVITIES. A. Release Time for Meetings When administration and representatives of the Educational Services Unit meet to discuss items in this agreement, said representatives (not to exceed seven) attending such a meeting shall suffer no loss of pay. However, meetings shall be scheduled in such a manner as to minimize the loss of normal working hours. All members of the Educational Services Unit shall be provided release time to attend Educational Services Unit meetings.
FEDERATION ACTIVITIES. Federation activities shall be conducted in a manner which will not interfere with the effectiveness and efficiency of the Employer’s operation in serving and carrying out its responsibility to the public. There shall be no soliciting of employees for Federation membership during working hours when such soliciting would interfere with the performance of an employee’s duties.
FEDERATION ACTIVITIES. With the permission of the appropriate supervisor(s), Federation representatives designated pursuant to Section 2.3 (a) of this Memorandum of Understanding shall be permitted reasonable time during working hours and on County premises to post official Federation notices on bulletin boards designated for such purposes by the Administration; to transmit communications, authorized by the Federation, to the Administration or its representative(s); to consult with the Administration or its representative(s) concerning the enforcement of any provisions of this Memorandum of Understanding; to consult with an employee and/or the Federation President with respect to the administration of this Memorandum of Understanding; to attend investigatory interviews if requested by employees pursuant to Section 11.3; and to represent employees at grievance meetings and hearings conducted pursuant to Section 4.3 of this Memorandum of Understanding. Access under this Section 2.3 (c) shall be denied only when the use of such time would interfere with the operations of the County.
FEDERATION ACTIVITIES. 6.1 The internal business of the Federation shall be conducted by the troopers during their non-duty hours. In cases of arbitration, a limited number of troopers, on paid time, as agreed to by the Federation and the Colonel, shall be allowed to be present and assist or be witnesses. The number of troopers and days shall be on an individual case basis. Travel expenses to and from the hearing are not reimbursable by the Employer. 6.2 It is recognized that troopers representing the Federation for purposes of negotiations or other activities relating to the administration of this Agreement, are acting on behalf of the Federation and its members and not in their capacity as troopers of the Employer. Employer's equipment shall not be used for Federation purposes, except that: 1. It is understood by the parties of this Agreement that Federation meetings of reasonable duration may be held in conjunction with regularly scheduled detachment or district meetings and that any time so used will not be considered part of a regular work shift. 2. Special meetings will be called during the three-month period immediately following the conclusion of negotiations and signing of the Agreement. At such meetings the Federation President or his/her assistant and the District representatives in conjunction with Management shall explain the Agreement provisions. 6.3 The Employer shall allow one meeting prior to commencement of negotiations to be attended by one representative from each district, to settle contract proposals. District chairmen shall be allowed to "patrol" to and from such meetings. No per diem or salary will be paid during such meeting time. At least 15 days prior to this meeting, the Federation shall notify the Colonel in writing of the meeting date, time, location, and the names of the troopers who will be attending. Hours in a pay status shall not exceed one work shift on the day of the meeting. 6.4 The Employer and the Union agree to the establishment of a Labor-Management Committee (LMC). Subsection 1. The purpose of this LMC is to discuss any item of concern to either party and xxxxxx good communications between the Employer and the members of the bargaining unit. The LMC will not, however, take the place of the grievance procedure or contract negotiations. Subsection 2. The LMC will be comprised of one MFPE representative, one MHP Trooper from each District, and four or more MHP Managers. LMC meetings shall constitute paid time worked for Troopers and Troope...
FEDERATION ACTIVITIES. 1. Federation members shall not conduct Federation business on College time or College premises unless specifically provided for in this Agreement. 2. The Federation will provide the College with a list of Officers no later than fifteen (15) days after the signing of this Agreement. The Federation will notify the College within twenty-four (24) hours of any changes in Officers. 3. The College agrees to grant upon request of employees covered by this Agreement, time off with pay for the purpose of attending Federation conventions and conferences, provided that: A. The total time off does not exceed ten (10) days in a year for all unit members; B. Written notice specifying the amount of time off is received by the College President at least ten (10) working days in advance of the leave requested; such leave request shall not be unreasonably refused. 4. Authorized leaves granted on an individual shall not exceed a maximum of five (5) days in a one year period, and three (3) days of paid leave for any single activity for any individual employee. 5. The Federation has designated the Federation President as the person from whom the request for Federation leave will originate.

FEDERATION ACTIVITIES. The College and the Federation agree that no faculty member shall experience discrimination, jeopardy, coercion or denial of any rights from the Federation or the College by virtue of the faculty member’s participation or lack thereof in any lawful activity or program of the Federation.

  • Association Activities The parties agree employees shall have the right to form, join, and participate in the lawful activities of the Association for the purpose of representation in matters of employment relations. No employee shall be interfered with, restrained, coerced, or discriminated against because of the exercise of such rights.

  • Union Activities If the Contract Amount is $50,000 or more, no Judicial Council funds received under this Agreement will be used to assist, promote or deter union organizing during the term of this Agreement (including any extension or renewal term).

  • Marketing Activities The Borrower will not, and will not permit any of its Subsidiaries to, engage in marketing activities for any Hydrocarbons or enter into any contracts related thereto other than (i) contracts for the sale of Hydrocarbons scheduled or reasonably estimated to be produced from their proved Oil and Gas Properties during the period of such contract, (ii) contracts for the sale of Hydrocarbons scheduled or reasonably estimated to be produced from proved Oil and Gas Properties of third parties during the period of such contract associated with the Oil and Gas Properties of the Borrower and its Subsidiaries that the Borrower or one of its Subsidiaries has the right to market pursuant to joint operating agreements, unitization agreements or other similar contracts that are usual and customary in the oil and gas business and (iii) other contracts for the purchase and/or sale of Hydrocarbons of third parties (A) which have generally offsetting provisions (i.e. corresponding pricing mechanics, delivery dates and points and volumes) such that no “position” is taken and (B) for which appropriate credit support has been taken to alleviate the material credit risks of the counterparty thereto.

  • Activities Except with the prior written consent of the Board, Executive will not during his employment with the Company undertake or engage in any other employment, occupation or business enterprise, other than ones in which Executive is a passive investor. Executive may engage in civic and not-for-profit activities so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of his duties hereunder.

  • High Risk Activities 1. The Software is not fault-tolerant and is not designed, manufactured or intended for use or resale as on-line control equipment in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance, such as in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communication systems, air traffic control, direct life support machines, or weapons systems, in which the failure of the Software could lead directly to death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage ("High Risk Activities").
