Flame Retardant Clothing. The Cooperatives agree to provide a clothing allowance for uniform clothing for all outside Local Union employees who will be gloving under this agreement. The format for the clothing allowance will be a clothing bank administered by the employing Cooperative. Employees will provide their own uniform clothing by selecting and ordering uniform clothing appropriate to their job classification from the provider’s catalog, previously approved by the employing Cooperative. Starting after this collective bargaining agreement is approved by the Local Union employees and the Cooperatives’ Boards of Directors; each new employee will have available one (1) time to purchase the initial uniform clothing wardrobe the amount of $1,000.00 together with current active employees, have available $550.00 on January 1, 2011, $600.00 on January 1, 2012 and $660.00 on January 1, 2013 for the same purpose. Sums not used by an employee may be carried over and used to purchase uniform clothing in the following year. All employees on duty are required to wear the uniform clothing as instructed by the employing cooperative.

This company approved work related clothing shall be approved by the Supervisor or in his absence the Director. The System Control Operators and the Custodian/Laborer shall be issued clothing in the amount of $175.00. This company approved clothing shall cover the following articles, shirts, sweaters, vests and jackets. The company logo shall be placed on the left of the upper chest area where it will be visible and be approved by the Supervisor or in his absence the Director. The following is the initial Non-Flame Retardant/Non-Arc-Rated Clothing allotment for: RELIEF OPERATOR: Three (3) - Long Sleeved Shirts (Navy) Two (2) - Pants – cargo or regular (Navy) LABOURER/CUSTODIAN Four (4) - Pants Flame Retardant/Arc-Rated Clothing: It is understood that all employees, shall not be allowed to work in proximity of energized apparatus without the proper Flame Retardant / Arc rated clothing in accordance with the Electrical Utilities Safety Association Rule Book, all applicable Occupational Health and Safety legislation and Orillia Power’s procedures. The Control Station Operators and the Custodian/Laborer shall be issued clothing in the amount of $145.00 effective September 1, 2007, $150.00 effective September 1, 2008 and $155.00 effective September 1, 2009. This company approved clothing shall cover the following articles, shirts, sweaters, vests and jackets. The company logo shall be placed on the left of the upper chest area where it will be visible and be approved by the Xxxxxxx or in his absence the Superintendent. A grace period for carryover of clothing allowance will be allowed for 2008. Once 2008 is over, it is imperative that employees use up their clothing allowance each contract year. The employee’s supervisor shall make sure that if an employee exceeds the clothing allowance the difference owing shall be reimbursed to the company prior to the employee being issued their new clothing. Flame Retardant/Arc-Rated Clothing: The provision of Flame Retardant/Arc Rated Clothing shall be issued on a replacement basis and provided for applicable staff as outlined below. It is understood that all employees, shall not be allowed to work in proximity of energized apparatus without the proper Flame Retardant /Arc rated clothing in accordance with the Electrical Utilities Safety Association Rule Book, all applicable Occupational Health and Safety legislation and Orillia Power’s procedures. Initial arc proof clothing complement shall be issued to applicable current staff and applicable new hires. When the initial complement of clothing is issued one article of clothing may be exchanged for other clothing of equal or lesser value. All replacement issues of clothing shall be upon approval of the immediate supervisor after inspection of the clothing to be replaced. Employees requesting replacement clothing shall supply the Purchasing/Storesperson with a Requisition for Material form with the Xxxxxxx’x or in his absence the Superintendent’s signature.   • PLANT CLOSURE 29.01 In the event the Company closes the plant at the Cambridge location as a result of the loss of business or a discontinuation of all operations, severance pay will be calculated at one (1) week’s regular pay per year of service. The severance payment, so calculated, is inclusive of any severance payment required by the Ontario Employment Standards Act (Revised 2000). This agreement is not applicable to a sale of the business or if the closure is occasioned by a labour dispute.

  • Mastectomy Services Inpatient This plan provides coverage for a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours in a hospital following a mastectomy and a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours in a hospital following an axillary node dissection. Any decision to shorten these minimum coverages shall be made by the attending physician in consultation with and upon agreement with you. If you participate in an early discharge, defined as inpatient care following a mastectomy that is less than forty-eight (48) hours and inpatient care following an axillary node dissection that is less than twenty-four (24) hours, coverage shall include a minimum of one (1) home visit conducted by a physician or registered nurse.

  • Transfer and Seniority Outside Bargaining Unit No employee shall be transferred to a position outside the bargaining unit without his consent. If an employee is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit, he shall retain his seniority accumulated up to the date of leaving the unit, but will not accumulate any further seniority. If such an employee returns to the bargaining unit within twelve (12) months, he shall be placed in a job consistent with his seniority. Such return shall not result in the layoff or bumping of an employee holding greater seniority.

  • Power Factor Design Criteria (Reactive Power A wind generating plant shall maintain a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, measured at the Point of Interconnection as defined in this LGIA, if the ISO’s System Reliability Impact Study shows that such a requirement is necessary to ensure safety or reliability. The power factor range standards can be met using, for example without limitation, power electronics designed to supply this level of reactive capability (taking into account any limitations due to voltage level, real power output, etc.) or fixed and switched capacitors if agreed to by the Connecting Transmission Owner for the Transmission District to which the wind generating plant will be interconnected, or a combination of the two. The Developer shall not disable power factor equipment while the wind plant is in operation. Wind plants shall also be able to provide sufficient dynamic voltage support in lieu of the power system stabilizer and automatic voltage regulation at the generator excitation system if the System Reliability Impact Study shows this to be required for system safety or reliability.
