FULL-TIME INSTRUCTIONAL ASSIGNMENTS. A. Instructor Assignments An hour of instruction is defined in the Student Attendance Accounting Manual. Instructors have a professional responsibility and obligation to the students and the District that extends beyond the formal lecture, individualized instruction, laboratory assignments, and office hours. These responsibilities include: advising students, curriculum evaluation and revision, grading, course preparation, faculty meetings, serving on committees, Student Learning Outcome Assessments, and Program Learning Outcome Assessment (when applicable). Assignments may also include conducting field trips and attending professional conferences. Unless mutually agreed by the Chief Instructional Officer or designee and the respective faculty member, no full-time faculty member shall be assigned more than a total of eighteen

Instructors have a professional responsibility and obligation to the students and the District that extends beyond the formal lecture, individualized instruction, laboratory assignments, and office hours. These responsibilities include: advising students, curriculum evaluation and revision, grading, field trips, conferences, course preparation, faculty meetings and serving on committees. Unless mutually agreed by the Chief Instructional Officer or designee and the respective faculty member, no full-time faculty member shall be assigned more than a total of eighteen (18) hours per semester for the purpose of attending District faculty meetings, student advising, and serving on committees. 1.   • Additional Assignments The Contractor further agrees to, and if applicable, cause each of its employees to, execute, acknowledge, and deliver all applications, specifications, oaths, assignments, and all other instruments which the City might reasonably deem necessary in order to apply for and obtain copyright protection, mask work registration, trademark registration and/or protection, letters patent, or any similar rights in any and all countries and in order to assign and convey to the City, its successors, assigns and nominees, the sole and exclusive right, title, and interest in and to the deliverables. The Contractor’s obligations to execute, acknowledge, and deliver (or cause to be executed, acknowledged, and delivered) instruments or papers such as those described in this Paragraph 38 a., b., and c. shall continue after the termination of this Contract with respect to such deliverables. In the event the City should not seek to obtain copyright protection, mask work registration or patent protection for any of the deliverables, but should desire to keep the same secret, the Contractor agrees to treat the same as Confidential Information under the terms of Paragraph 37 above.

  • Additional Assignors It is understood and agreed that any Subsidiary of the Borrower that is required to execute a counterpart of this Agreement after the date hereof pursuant to the Credit Agreement shall automatically become an Assignor hereunder by executing a counterpart hereof and delivering the same to the Collateral Agent.

  • Overtime Assignment A. In institutional settings when the Agency determines that overtime is necessary, overtime shall be offered on a rotating basis, to the qualified employees who usually work the shift where the opportunity occurs. If no qualified employees on the shift desire to work the overtime, it will be offered on a rotating basis first to the qualified employee with the most state seniority at the work site. When there are no volunteers to work the overtime as outlined above, and/or where an emergency exists, reasonable overtime hours may be required by the Agency. Such overtime shall be assigned, on a rotating basis, first to the qualified employee with the least state seniority at the work site. This policy shall not apply to overtime work which is specific to a particular employee’s claim load or specialized work assignment or when the incumbent is required to finish a work assignment. B. In non-institutional settings, the Agency reserves the right to schedule and approve overtime. In emergency situations overtime may be approved after the fact. Required overtime that can be worked by more than one (1) employee at the work site (that which is not specific to the particular employee’s case load or specialized work assignment) will be offered on a rotating, state seniority basis. If no qualified employee volunteers for the work, or where an emergency exists, then the qualified employee with the least state seniority at the work site will be assigned on a rotating basis. C. The parties recognize that in both institutional and non-institutional settings, that the Employer has the right to require mandatory overtime where necessary; however, the Employer will not abuse the utilization of mandatory overtime.

  • General Assignment A general assignment by Tenant for the benefit of creditors;

  • Deed; Xxxx of Sale; Assignment To the extent required and permitted by applicable law, this Agreement shall also constitute a “deed,” “xxxx of sale” or “assignment” of the assets and interests referenced herein.

  • Collateral Assignment The Owner may assign this contract as collateral security. The Company is not responsible for the validity or effect of a collateral assignment. The Company will not be responsible to an assignee for any payment or other action taken by the Company before receipt of the assignment in writing at its Home Office. The interest of any beneficiary will be subject to any collateral assignment made either before or after the beneficiary is named. A collateral assignee is not an Owner. A collateral assignment is not a transfer of ownership. Ownership can be transferred only by complying with Section 8.2.

  • Lawful Assignment No Receivable was originated in, or is subject to the laws of, any jurisdiction the laws of which would make unlawful, void or voidable the sale, transfer and assignment of such Receivable under this Agreement or pursuant to transfers of the Notes.

  • Full-Time Nurse is a Nurse who is hired to a position on a regular or temporary basis to work the work period described in Article 7.00 of this Agreement.

  • Acting Assignment Pay 181. Employees assigned by the Appointing Officer or its designee to perform a substantial portion of the duties and responsibilities of a higher classification shall receive compensation at a higher salary if all of the following conditions are met: a. the assignment shall be in writing; 183. b. the position to which the employee is assigned must be a budgeted position.

  • Assignment and Transfer The Member may assign or transfer in whole but not in part its limited liability company interest to a single acquiror.
