Faculty Offices. The University shall assign individual office space in a fair and nondiscriminatory manner which supports unit members’ ability to meet the entire workload expectations.
Faculty Offices. Faculty employed during the term of this Agreement shall have a private office if s/he desires one. The Board, absent exigent circumstances, shall provide a private office within thirty-one (31) days of the start of the Faculty member’s employment appointment or the receipt of a written request, provided that a private office is
Faculty Offices. The District shall provide reasonable office and work space for use of regular faculty members. Office space and work space shall be provided for adjunct faculty whenever and wherever available.
Faculty Offices. The District shall attempt to provide a reasonable and equipped office for each Unit Member.
Faculty Offices. A. The Administration shall provide each faculty member with a lockable office, with no more than two faculty members assigned to the same office. Each faculty member shall have a computer with Internet access, a lockable desk and at least a lockable file cabinet, a bookcase, a desk chair, and a student chair. Offices shall be located near the faculty member’s classes whenever possible. The faculty member, Union, and the College shall mutually agree to temporary exceptions to the above in the event temporary reassignments are needed for remodeling or similar purposes.
B. The Administration shall provide at least one telephone for each full-time faculty member’s office. The use of telephones by the faculty member shall be in accordance with the administrative rules and procedures. Any violation of administrative rules and procedures shall be grounds for disciplinary measures. The faculty member shall be permitted to use his office phone for collect or credit card long-distance calls that are at no expense to the College.
C. Faculty members will have unimpeded access to their offices during normal operating hours on days of normal campus or division operations. If access is needed after normal operating hours, the faculty member will be granted access within a reasonable time by contacting the appropriate campus security office and upon verification of faculty identification.
Faculty Offices. The College will provide each faculty member with office space of at least 80 sq. ft. to the extent such space is available within the College and otherwise not currently in use. All faculty office spaces will be equipped with at least one (1) computer, one (1) desk, two (2) chairs, at least one (1) two-drawer file cabinet, and one (1) book storage area.
Faculty Offices. The intent of the District and the Association is to provide each full-time faculty member with an office which reflects and supports their professional status.
a. Full-time faculty will be provided with an adequate office which is safe, appropriately equipped, and physically accessible to all students.
b. Where privacy and confidentiality are at issue, space will be available to assure privacy and confidentiality when needed.
c. The District will identify new office space for use by department and will make assignments in collaboration with department full-time faculty to effectively provide services to students.
d. Storage space, outside of full-time faculty offices, will be provided as needed.
e. Emeritus faculty will be provided with an office space to share for the purpose of doing District business.

Private offices shall be offered to such Faculty pursuant to the guidelines described below: • No Faculty member shall be entitled to two offices, or portion thereof, pursuant to the provisions of this section. Accordingly, any Faculty member who accepts a private office shall vacate their current office space. • Acceptance of private office space shall be voluntary. Any Faculty member who declines a private office at the beginning of the academic year, however, shall forfeit the right to a private office prior to the following fall semester. Similarly, if a Faculty member accepts a private office and subsequently desires to return to their former office, the Board shall be under no obligation to provide the former office space. Faculty performing laboratory or studio-based teaching and/or research shall be provided with access to adequate laboratory or studio space.
Faculty Offices. A. The College shall provide each bargaining unit member with a lockable office with minimum furnishings. Offices shall meet or exceed minimum size requirements as required by applicable state statutes, administrative rules, and /or state space utilization policies/procedures. In the event remodeling or similar circumstances necessitate temporary reassignments, temporary exceptions to this section may be made for the duration of the circumstances, provided the temporary reassignment provides minimum furnishings whenever possible. Minimum furnishings shall include the following.
