GENERAL SAVINGS. 24.1 If any provisions of this Agreement be declared illegal by a court of competent jurisdiction, then that provision shall be deleted from this Agreement to the extent that it violates the law. The remaining provisions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect to the extent they may be implemented without the deleted items. By mutual agreement the subject matter affected by such declaration of illegality may be renegotiated at any time; however, if this Agreement shall be in effect for at least twelve

By mutual agreement the subject matter affected by such declaration of illegality may be renegotiated at any time; however, if this Agreement shall be in effect for at least twelve (12) calendar months following such declaration of illegality, the parties shall renegotiate the affected provisions, such negotiations to commence within thirty (30) working days and to continue for sixty (60) calendar days or until agreement can be reached thereon, whichever shall be the sooner. Any such renegotiation shall not be subject to any of the impasse provisions of Chapter 447, Sections 447.403, and 447.409 of the Florida Statutes.
22.02 The Superintendent shall fulfill his/her obligations as provided for in Chapter 447, Section 447.309 of the Florida Statutes. Article 23 - Subcontracting
23.01 Maintenance and/or capital outlay work shall be subcontracted only when it is more economical and/or practical to do so.
GENERAL SAVINGS. Nothing in this Agreement will be deemed or is intended to reduce the terms and conditions of employment, or accrued entitlements to which any employee may have been entitled prior to the making of this Agreement.
GENERAL SAVINGS. A. If any Article or Section of this Agreement is held to be contrary to law, then such provision shall not be deemed valid and subsisting, except to the extent permitted by law, but all other Articles and Sections shall continue in full force and effect.
B. In the event that any Article or Section is held invalid or enforcement of or compliance with which has been restrained, as above set forth, the parties affected thereby shall enter into collective bargaining negotiations, upon the request of either party for the purpose of arriving at a mutually satisfactory replacement for such Article or Section during the period of invalidity or restraint.
GENERAL SAVINGS. It is not the intent of either party hereto to violate any laws of the State of Nevada or of the United States. The parties agree that in the event any provision of the Agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be in contravention of any such Jaws, they will enter into negotiations within a reasonable length of time from the date of knowledge of such contravention to negotiate such provisions to comply with the law or any changes in the Nevada Revised Statutes which are in contravention to the provisions of this Agreement. The remainder of the Agreement will remain in full force and effect.

GENERAL SAVINGS a. If any provision of this Agreement or any application of the Agreement to any person or persons covered herein be found contrary to federal law or the NRS, the provision or application will be deemed invalid except to the extent permitted by law, but all other provisions of this Agreement will continue in full force and effect.
b. If there is any change in federal law or the NRS that would invalidate or supplement any provision of this Agreement, excluding changes in Chapter 288 of the NRS, the parties will meet to negotiate any change in the Agreement relative to the affected provisions only.
c. In the event Chapter 288 of the NRS is amended, the Authority and the Union, through a committee of not more than 5 representatives each, will meet within 30 days of such passage to informally discuss the ramifications, if any, on this Agreement.
d. It is intended by the provisions of this Agreement that there be no abrogation of the duties, obligations, or responsibilities of the Authority expressly provided for by federal law, state statutes, and local ordinances, except as expressly limited herein.

GENERAL SAVINGS. 1. If any section of the Master Contract is found to be in violation of the State Law, due to changes of the law after the contract has been ratified, the one clause or section in violation will be renegotiated and will not invalidate the entire contract.
