Grade 5. 6.1 Employees in this grade shall be capable of performing tasks, including those of the lower grades, using a more extensive range of skills and knowledge at a level higher than in Grade 4. They work under minimal supervision and may have limited responsibility for the work of others. They apply initiative, discretion and judgement in making decisions and resolving problems in their own function area.

Grade 5. A Registered Nurse appointed as the After Hours Coordinator, in charge of a Facility of 61 beds or more on PM, night and all weekend shifts and paid as such. The rate of pay for this classification shall be based on the relevant bed number (usually 51 - 200 beds). A Registered Nurse appointed as a Clinical Care Coordinator in a Residential Aged Care Facility.
Grade 5. An employee at this grade has undertaken stores work of all lower grades and who has, at the request of the Company, completed the Warehousing and Distribution Course (No. 8502) at a Registered Training Organisation.
