Graduating Students. If student is receiving a grade of “I” in the last term of their graduation, conferral of their degree will not be posted until the final grade is submitted for the course.

Graduating Students. Residents graduating within an active Residence Agreement term are permitted to stay in Residence until the conclusion of this agreement term. Should a resident choose to terminate this Agreement early, following their graduation and prior to the end date of the Agreement Term as outlined in the Confirmation Letter, the resident is required to provide 60 days’ notice prior to the proposed date of termination and will be charged a $300.00 Residence Agreement Early Termination Administration fee, (as outlined in paragraph 11.a herein).
Graduating Students. All students dropping below full-time status due to graduation at the end of a given semester should be awarded institutional aid according to the number of credit hours they are planning to enroll. All institutional scholarships will be adjusted by the following factors: 11 hours = .69, 10 hours = .62, 9 hours = .56, 8 hours = .50, 7 hours = .44, 6 hours = .37. If a student has less than 6 hours, institutional scholarships are not allowed. For students in their last semester, residing on campus and receiving 100% trustee scholarship, they will receive 100% of the tuition discount, even if they are less than full time. Students must be full time up until their last semester to be eligible for the proration.

Students must be full time up until their last semester to be eligible for the proration. An exception to this is for students enrolled in the Elementary Education: Learning Disabilities program. They are allowed to get prorated scholarships based on this formula for the last two semesters prior to graduation. For students in their last semester, residing on campus and receiving 100% trustee scholarship, they will receive 100% of the tuition discount, even if they are less than full time. Any additional exceptions should be limited but will be at the discretion of the Vice President of Admissions or Director of Admissions.
Graduating Students. If you intend to graduate straight after the Erasmus period you must send all the documents at least 30 days before the beginning of the graduation session. 4.   • Teaching Load 11-1 The parties recognize that the number of students, the number of preparations, and the amount of planning time are related to student performance. 11-2 CLASS SIZE 11-2-1 The parties recognize that class size is related to economics and that reduction of class size is faced with fiscal constraints.   • TEACHING HOURS AND TEACHING LOAD Section 1 Work Day For the applicable agreement period, the normal work day will be seven and one-quarter (7 ¼) hours including arrival time fifteen (15) minutes before and departure time (15) minutes after the students’ school day. The normal work day will include uninterrupted prep time. The Building Principal, as authorized by the Superintendent, upon request of a teacher or group of teachers, may waive the requirement to remain fifteen (15) minutes after the school day for a specific day or days. It is recognized; however, that the proper performance of their duties may, on occasion, require these persons to work longer than the normal work day, i.e. for conferences, faculty meetings, department meetings, etc. Therefore, “mandatory meetings will occur two times per month and be no longer than 90 minutes in length, inclusive of the additional 15 minutes beyond the scheduled student school day. A schedule of the meetings will be distributed by June 30th of the previous school year, but may be changed at the discretion of the Principal with 48 hours’ notice.” Teachers will also remain at school after the fifteen (15) minutes described above, during one (1) day each calendar week for such periods of time as is necessary to provide students extra help, and/or to meet with parents or guardians, concerning the progress of their children or wards. No teacher shall be required to work more than a normal seven and one- quarter (7 ¼) hour day, including fifteen (15) minutes before and (15) minutes after the students’ school day, which will include uninterrupted prep time; this provision does not apply to other contractually agreed upon time and meetings. Should state law require a longer instructional day, or more days, the teachers shall work the added time and the parties shall immediately commence impact bargaining on the issue. This article does not purport to cover the arrival and departure time of teachers involved in special assignments. Section 2 Other Personnel Personnel other than classroom teachers will work at their assigned tasks for the length of the regular teachers' work day. The exact daily schedule will be worked out on an individual basis between the Administration and the employee with notification to the Association. Instructional Coaches are required to work an additional five (5) days at their per diem rate, beyond the work year for a total of 189 days. These days will be determined prior to the start of the new school year and at the discretion of the Superintendent and the Chief Academic Officer.

  • CULTURAL DIVERSITY The Cultural Diversity Requirement generally does not add units to a student's program. Rather, it is intended to be fulfilled by choosing courses from the approved list that also satisfy requirements in other areas of the student’s program; the exception is that Cultural Diversity courses may not satisfy Culture and Language Requirements for B.S. students. For example, COMM 6 – Intercultural Communication, can fulfill (3) units of the Behavioral Science requirement and (3) units of the Cultural Diversity requirement. This double counting of a class may only be done with the Cultural Diversity requirement. Courses in Cultural Diversity may be taken at the lower- division or upper-division level.
