Health and Welfare for Underground Construction Co,. Inc. shall offer a Health and Welfare Plan for the purpose of providing insurance benefits for eligible employees and/or their dependents. The Underground Construction Co,. Inc. Health and Welfare Plan shall provide workers with a Blue Shield of California (Access + HMO; 30-20%/ Zero Facility Deductible) with such provider or providers to be rated by Standard & Poors, Moodys, AM Best, Xxxxx, or equivalent rating agency. Effective March 1, 2008 Underground Construction Co, Inc. workers under this Agreement shall receive the sum of Four dollars and seventy-five cents($4.75) effective March 1, 2008. Hours worked shall be deemed to include straight-time hours worked, overtime hours worked, and premium time hours worked. This Health and Welfare Plan Hourly Contribution Rate shall remain in effect until March 30, 2009. Underground Construction Co, Inc will agreed to pay increases if needed per the standard used ( LINECO INSURANCE). This is not to exceed and additional twenty-five cents ($0.25) and hour for a maximum of Five Dollars ($5.00) and hour. This would effect hours worked between January 1, 2009 and March 30, 2009 if necessary. The Hourly Contribution Rate shall be paid monthly by Underground Construction Co,.Inc. on the workers behalf directly to the health insurance provider or their designated representative. This payment shall be made so as to assure continuity in health insurance coverage for the workers. If the cost of a workers Health and Welfare Plan choice exceeds the specified Hourly Contribution Rate set forth above, the difference between the plan cost and the above-specified rate shall be deducted from wages. If the cost of a workers Health and Welfare Plan choice does not reach the specified Hourly Contribution Rate set forth above, the difference between the plan cost and the above specified rate shall be applied to wages. Employees may opt out of the Health and Welfare Plan after providing proof of like coverage. It is understood and intended by the parties to this Agreement that the purpose of this clause is to establish an Employer financed Health and Welfare Plan and that contributions thereto shall not be deemed to be wages to which any employee shall have any right other than the right to have such contributions paid over to the Plan in accordance herewith. Failure by Underground Construction Co,.Inc. to make all payments provided for under this clause shall be a breach of this Agreement.

  • Interconnection Facilities Engineering Procurement and Construction Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, and Distribution Upgrades shall be studied, designed, and constructed pursuant to Good Utility Practice. Such studies, design and construction shall be based on the assumed accuracy and completeness of all technical information received by the Participating TO and the CAISO from the Interconnection Customer associated with interconnecting the Large Generating Facility.

Such collaboration will be as follows: (a) exchanges on science and technology as well as policies and laws relating the sustainable use of forest resources; (b) cooperation in training programs, internships, exchange of experts and projects advisory; (c) advice and technical assistance to public institutions and organizations of the Parties on sustainable use of forest resources and environmental protection; (d) facilitating forest policy dialogue and technical cooperation under the Network of Sustainable Forest Management and Forest Rehabilitation in Asia- Pacific Region, initiated at the 15th Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Meeting; (e) encouraging joint studies, working visits, exchange of experiences, among others; and (f) others activities mutually agreed.

  • Selection of Subcontractors, Procurement of Materials and Leasing of Equipment The contractor shall not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment. The contractor shall take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure nondiscrimination in the administration of this contract.
