Health, Safety And Environment Committee. The Health, Safety and Environment Committee will be comprised of Representatives from throughout the University community, including one Representative each from the Union, management, academic and non-academic staff, and the Student body. The Committee will meet at least quarterly. All Representatives shall be entitled to attend Committee meetings without loss of pay or benefits.

Should less than three (3) members be available for the meeting, it may proceed by mutual consent. A Chairperson and a Secretary shall be elected from and by the members of the Committee. Hospitals will choose either to include a representative from the bargaining unit from each Hospital site, or to have a separate Joint Health and Safety Committee at each Hospital site, unless the parties agree otherwise.
