Maintenance/Mechanics/Custodians will take New Year’s Eve Day off as a paid holiday.

Full-time and Regular Part-time ESPs except Maintenance/Mechanics and Maintenance/Custodian shall have the same vacation as the teachers during Christmas break. Custodians will take New Year’s Eve Day off as a paid holiday in lieu of Pulaski Day. They will then have the option to choose one (1) non-student attendance day in lieu of Veteran’s Day.

  • Pay for Holidays Worked (a) When an employee is required to work on a designated holiday, the employee shall be paid compensation, or given compensatory time off, for such work at the rate of time and one-half the employee’s regular rate of pay, in addition to regular pay received for all hours worked for the holiday.
