In-Service Probation Period. Upon promotion or transfer, an employee shall serve an in-service probation period of up to three (3) months in the new position before being confirmed in the appointment. If the appointment is not confirmed, the Corporation shall revert the employee to the employee's previous position or to a position of equal value for which the employee is qualified. In all cases where an employee is reverted to the employee's previous position or to a position of equal value for which the employee is qualified, the Corporation may require any or all other employee(s) who were promoted or transferred as a result of the rearrangement of employees, to revert to their previous position or to a position of equal value for which the employee is qualified.
