Ineligible Projects. None of the following types of Projects qualifies to be studied (each, an “Ineligible Project”):

Ineligible Projects i. When a project meets an outcome in the Community, Culture and Recreation Infrastructure Outcomes Table, it is not eligible for contribution funding under this Agreement if it:
a) has a private sector, for-profit Ultimate Recipient;
b) is a stand-alone daycare facility, for-profit daycare facility, daycare facility associated with a school board, or a daycare facility funded under Canada’s Early Learning and Child Care initiative;
c) is a religious site that serves as a place of assembly for religious purposes, which includes among others, a site, church, mosque, synagogue, temple, chapel (e.g., within a convent or seminary), shrine or meeting house; or
d) is a professional or semi-professional sport facility that is primarily a commercial operation, such as those that serve major junior hockey leagues.
ii. Within Community Infrastructure Projects that meet an outcome in the Community, Culture and Recreation Infrastructure Outcomes Table, elements of the Project that include dedicated spaces for healthcare, education or tourism purposes, provincial or local government services, or for-profit uses are ineligible for contribution funding under this Agreement, except for dedicated healthcare or education spaces that benefit Indigenous people by advancing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action as approved by Canada.
Ineligible Projects. As determined by the City of Plano upon review of an energy audit report completed by a Certified Energy Auditor • Structural and cosmetic repairs & products not directly related to completing the energy efficiency projects CITY OF PLANO GENERAL CONTRACTUAL INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS Vendors/Contractors performing work on City property for the City of Plano shall provide the City a certificate of insurance evidencing the coverage’s and coverage provisions identified herein. Vendors/Contractors shall provide the City evidence that all subcontractors performing work on the project have the same types and amounts of insurance as required herein or that the subcontractors are included under the vendors/contractor’s policy. The City, at its discretion, may require a certified copy of the policies, including all relevant endorsements. All insurance companies must be authorized by the Texas Department of Insurance to transact business in the State of Texas, must be acceptable to the City of Plano and be placed with an insurer possessing an A-VII A. M. Best rating or better. Listed below are the types and amounts of insurance required. The City reserves the right to amend or require additional types and higher limits of coverage or provisions depending on the nature of the work.
Ineligible Projects. Funding through VPP is not intended for land acquisition, equipment, projects undertaken by municipal staff, or capital expenses. The following list provides additional examples of projects that are not eligible:
Ineligible Projects. Housing projects that are not eligible include nursing and retirement homes (although seniors’ apartment buildings are eligible); secondary suites in ownership housing; mobile homes; shelters and crisis care facilities; ownership housing and projects with fewer than three units. No project that displaces existing tenants, without submitting an acceptable relocation plan as part of the proposal, will be considered for approval. No project will be considered for which an occupancy permit has been issued prior to the submission date contained in this RFP.

Ineligible Projects. Projects will be considered ineligible where: • the project does not meet the definition of Eligible Projects in Section 2.2 of this Program Guide; • the applicant does not meet either one of the definitions of Eligible Applicants in Section 2.1; • the project has already received funding from the Innovative Clean Energy Fund; • construction has already begun on the project; • the proposed project is determined to be routine maintenance or repair; • the project will either not be completed, or will not be significantly close to completion, prior to March 31, 2016; or • the project does not otherwise meet the mandatory criteria as outlined in this Program Guide.
