Initial Salary Offer. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, the Board retains the right to make salary offers to prospective Faculty members during the term of this Agreement in order to attract qualified faculty. Any offer letter for a continuing appointment issued to a newly employed untenured, tenure-track Faculty member must be approved by the Xxxxxxx or designee and shall include at least the following: a. The new Faculty member’s rank; b. The initial monthly salary; and, c. The anticipated assignment and workload for the first year of employment. In addition, the initial salary offer should, where practicable, include prior demonstrable achievements that will be considered if the Faculty member submits an application for promotion or tenure pursuant to Article 13. Finally, the initial salary offer may include a statement of any anticipated contract for summer work and, if applicable, a statement of any startup costs and laboratory/studio or office space. Where practicable, the Board shall memorialize the offer in writing. No action, statement, agreement settlement or representation made by any member of the bargaining unit to a prospective Faculty member shall impose any obligation or duty or be considered to be authorized by or binding upon the Board unless and until the Board has agreed thereto in writing.

  • Annual Salary Executive's compensation shall consist of an annual base salary (the "Annual Salary") of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000), before all customary payroll deductions. The Annual Salary shall be reviewed, and shall be subject to change, by the Board of Directors of Employer (or the Compensation Committee thereof) at least annually while Executive is employed hereunder.

  • Placement on the Salary Schedule Members of the bargaining unit shall be placed on the salary schedule at the step appropriate for training and creditable years of experience.

  • Salary and Bonus Awards of stock, stock options, and stock appreciation rights. Use the dollar amount recognized for financial statement reporting purposes with respect to the fiscal year in accordance with the Statement of Financial Accounting Standards No. 123 (Revised 2004) (FAS 123R), Shared Based Payments.

  • Placement on Salary Schedule The following rules shall be applicable in determining placement of a teacher on the appropriate salary schedule.

  • Base Salary and Bonus As compensation for the Executive's services under this Agreement, the Executive shall receive and the Company shall pay a weekly base salary set forth on Exhibit A. Such base salary may be increased but not decreased during the Term or Renewal Period in the Company's discretion based upon the Executive's performance and any other factors the Company deems relevant. Such base salary shall be payable in accordance with the policy then prevailing for the Company's executives. In addition to such base salary, the Executive shall be entitled during the Term or Renewal Period to a performance bonus set forth on Exhibit A and to participate in and receive payments from, at the Company's election, other bonus and other incentive compensation plans, if any, as may be adopted by the Company.

  • Payroll Deduction Schedule The Board will deduct the representation fee in equal installments, as nearly as possible, from the paychecks paid to each employee on the aforesaid list during the remainder of the membership year in question. The deductions will begin with the first paycheck paid:

  • Salary Placement Entry-level placement on the salary schedule shall be at the lowest step of the schedule for the classification or at the hourly rate established for the classification, unless the District authorizes hiring at a higher rate.

  • Payroll Deduction A. Membership dues of OCEA members in this Representation Unit and insurance premiums for such OCEA sponsored insurance programs as may be approved by the Board of Supervisors shall be deducted by the County from the pay warrants of such members. The County shall promptly transmit the dues and insurance premiums so deducted to OCEA. B. OCEA shall notify the County, in writing, as to the amount of dues uniformly required of all members of OCEA and also the amount of insurance premiums required of employees who choose to participate in such programs.

  • Payroll Deductions An employee shall be entitled to have deductions from her salary assigned for the purchase of Canada Savings Bonds.

  • Salary Increases The Employer agrees to pay the negotiated salary increases to every employee not later than the month following the month in which this Agreement is signed and not later than the month following the month in which any subsequent salary increases become effective.
