The Instructor Qualifications clause sets out the minimum standards and credentials required for individuals to serve as instructors under an agreement. Instructor Qualifications. All instructors from Agency are required to meet the District’s minimum or equivalent qualifications for hiring as part-time Fire Technology Instructors.
Instructor Qualifications. 1. All classes shall be taught in accordance with the American Red Cross WSI Swim Programs, YMCA Swim Instructors Safety Around Water Program or other approved program as determined by the City.
2. All instructors provided by Consultant to teach under this Agreement must be certified instructors and shall have active, valid Advanced Life Saving Certificates, Basic Lifeguard Training or Emergency Water Safety Certificates issued by a recognized licensed agency or the American Red Cross. Copies of valid certificates for all instructors and lifeguards must be forwarded by the Consultant to the City’s Representative prior to the start of the instruction.
Instructor Qualifications. It is the responsibility of each JROTC instructor to maintain sufficient medical, physical, and mental fitness, and be willing to perform, participate in, and supervise activities consistent with the conduct of the Junior ROTC program.
Instructor Qualifications. The qualifications of the instructors hired/maintained are to be consistent with the qualifications listed in sections 20-88.1 and 115C-215 and -216 of the General Statutes of North Carolina. Further, instructors shall perform their duties in such a fashion as to serve as positive role models for the students enrolled. Instructors in both the classroom and the behind-the wheel instruction shall be mutually agreeable to GCS and the Contractor.
Instructor Qualifications. Instructor shall meet the Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges for the discipline in which Instructor is assigned. Prior to teaching, Instructor shall complete discipline-specific training and orientation from the College regarding, but not limited to, course curriculum, assessment criteria, pedagogy, course philosophy, procedures, record keeping and instructional responsibilities as requested by the College. Instructor will be deemed ineligible to teach Concurrent Enrollment Courses, at the discretion of the College, for lack of compliance with the policies, regulations, standards and expectations of the College.
Instructor Qualifications. 54:01 Each Instructor shall be required to attain the Teaching For Learning in Applied Education post-graduate certificate or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the Employer.
54:02 It is desirable that Teaching for Learning in Applied Education is completed as quickly as reasonably possible. Therefore, an Instructor shall complete at least six (6) credit hours towards the post-graduate certificate in each academic year.
(a) Where an Instructor has no assigned contact hours and subject to the approval of the Employer, where operational requirements permit, the Instructor may complete one or more courses towards accreditation during the period Monday to Friday, during an Instructor’s normal hours of work.
(b) An Instructor completing the Teaching for Learning in Applied Education shall be eligible for one increment step increase within the pay range effective the first day of the biweekly pay period of the month following attainment as reflected in the Instructor’s transcript. The Instructor’s eligibility for relevant increments at the next anniversary date will not change as a result of the foregoing.
(c) The tuition waiver for Teaching for Learning in Applied Education courses will be in effect for instructors.
Instructor Qualifications. To qualify as an instructor, a person must: hold NFPA 1041 Fire Service Instructor Level I o Exception: only a lead instructor who has successfully completed NFPA 1041 Fire Service Instructor Level II can deliver NFPA 1041 Fire Service Instructor Level I be a graduate of the course or program being taught or have been granted equivalency acknowledge intention to comply with the instructor procedures outlined in this document
Instructor Qualifications. 3.1. A Class 1, 2, 3 and 4 instructor who delivers the Approved Course for any Driver Certification Program must:
3.1.1. hold a valid B.C. driver’s licence for each class of commercial driver training they conduct;
3.1.2. have a minimum of three years experience in the operation of vehicles for which a Class 1, 2, 3 or 4 driver’s licence is required, if exempted under Division 27 of the Motor Vehicle Act Regulations B.C. Reg. 26/58;
3.1.3. have commercial driving and instructional experience that is acceptable to ICBC;
3.1.4. Have a driving record that is acceptable to ICBC;
3.1.5. Maintain knowledge and skills through a combination of instruction and refresher training that is acceptable to ICBC.
3.2. Air brake instructors must:
3.2.1. hold or have held a class of valid B.C. driver’s licence with an air brake endorsement;
3.2.2. hold a valid air brake instructor certificate of qualification;
3.2.3. In the case of an air brake instructor delivering the nine hours of theory training for an air brake endorsement to be added to a class of driver’s licence that permits operation of a combination-unit vehicle equipped with air brakes, hold a Graduated Licensing Theory designation on the air brake instructor certificate of qualification;
3.2.4. Have commercial driving and instructional experience that is acceptable to ICBC;
3.2.5. Have a driving record that is acceptable to ICBC;
3.2.6. Maintain knowledge and skills through a combination of instruction and refresher training that is acceptable to ICBC.
Instructor Qualifications. Instructor must 1) possess current CPR certification; 2) be eighteen years of age or older; and 3) either hold a two (2) or four (4) year degree in health, exercise science, recreation or physical activity related field; or hold a current license for the following: RN, LPN, LMT, LPT, RYT; or hold a nationally recognized instructor/trainer certification that is available to the general population and requires continuing education courses and CPR certification as criteria for recertification.
Instructor Qualifications. All student contact hours submitted by the City of Carlsbad Fire Department to Palomar Community College District shall have been taught under the line of sight supervision of instructors who meet the college’s minimum or equivalent qualifications for hiring as part-time Fire Technology Instructors. This expertise is furnished at the expense of the City of Carlsbad Fire Department. The services include the use of their specialized equipment, facilities, all handouts, and instructors with specific expertise.
