Insurance and Licenses. Consultant shall obtain and maintain any and all licenses, permits, certificates or other grants or documents that are required by any regulatory body of any State in which such services will be rendered. Consultant shall maintain Workers’ Compensation and General Liability insurance in force applicable to its Employees and will insure that VWGoA is named as an additional insured party. Consultant will supply Certificates of Insurance to VWGoA upon request. Consultant guarantees that its Employees are legally able to work in the United States and that all I-9 or similar forms have been completed and retained according to law.

Subject to applicable law, the Contractor shall, at their own expense, if required, duly licence and keep licenced the vehicle with the relevant federal and provincial departments of transportation or any other governmental authority requiring registration of the Vehicle. If Independent Contractor uses vehicles in connection with the Services that have a gross weight greater than 10,000 but less than 26,000 pounds, Independent Contractor, at its expense, shall institute and keep in force during the entire time Independent Contractor provides Services hereunder, commercial auto liability insurance covering bodily injury and property damage with liability limits not less than $500,000, and cargo insurance with liability limits not less than $100,000. If Independent Contractor uses vehicles in connection with the Services that have a gross weight greater than 26,001 pounds, Independent Contractor, at its expense, shall institute and keep in force during the entire time Independent Contractor provides Services hereunder, commercial auto liability insurance covering bodily injury and property damage with liability limits not less than $1,000,000 combined single limits, and cargo insurance with liability limits not less than $100,000. Further, all such insurance policies will list Company as an additional insured, and shall contain waivers of subrogation in favor of the Company and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, owners, agents and employees.
