Insurance and Licenses. Consultant shall obtain and maintain any and all licenses, permits, certificates, or other grants or documents that are required by any regulatory body of any State in which such services will be rendered. Consultant shall maintain Workers’ Compensation and General Liability insurance in force applicable to its Employee and will insure that VWGoA is named as an additional insured party. Consultant shall supply Certificates of Insurance to VWGoA upon request. Consultant guarantees that its Employee is legally able to work in the United States and that all I-9 or similar forms have been completed and retained according to law.

If Independent Contractor uses vehicles in connection with the Services that have a gross weight greater than 10,000 but less than 26,000 pounds, Independent Contractor, at its expense, shall institute and keep in force during the entire time Independent Contractor provides Services hereunder, commercial auto liability insurance covering bodily injury and property damage with liability limits not less than $500,000, and cargo insurance with liability limits not less than $100,000. If Independent Contractor uses vehicles in connection with the Services that have a gross weight greater than 26,001 pounds, Independent Contractor, at its expense, shall institute and keep in force during the entire time Independent Contractor provides Services hereunder, commercial auto liability insurance covering bodily injury and property damage with liability limits not less than $1,000,000 combined single limits, and cargo insurance with liability limits not less than $100,000.
