Investigator Meetings. If any Study personnel who are Institution employees or contractors are required to attend investigator meetings for this Study, CRO will arrange and pay directly for travel and accommodation and will cover the reasonable costs of meals in connection with those meetings, but does not provide compensation for such attendance.
Investigator Meetings. Where the Agreement between the Institution and Sponsor recommend or obligate the Principal Investigator, Study Nurse, or other representative to attend an Investigators’ Meeting, it is understood and agreed that Sponsor will provide and pay all reasonable and appropriate expenses, including transportation, room and board, and incidental expenses. It is the understanding of the parties that attending of the Investigators’ Meetings is reasonable and necessary to ensure all parties engaged in the study have a clear understanding of the protocol. It is the understanding of the parties that the compensation for attending the Investigators’ meeting is fair and reasonable, and that said payments represent fair market value and are not merely a token arrangement. It is the understanding of the parties that attending of the Investigators’ Meetings does not constitute any form of payment for referral and that neither the person attending the Investigators’ Meeting nor the Institution is obligated to Sponsor in any way. It is the understanding of the parties that attending the Investigators’ Meeting does not obligate either party to ensure a certain number of patients will be enrolled in a study and does not constitute a promise of payment in the future. Both parties agree that if any physicians, healthcare professionals, study nurses, or other personnel connected with the Institution are engaged by Sponsor to act as consultants, advisors, or researchers in connection with various types of marketing and research activities, these arrangements will only be for a legitimate purpose and all payments for said activities shall be fair and reasonable. These activities may include, but are not limited to: performing research, data collection, consulting services, serving on advisory boards, and taking part in focus groups. Human Subjects Protection: The parties agree that research investigators are entrusted with an essential role in assuring the adequate protection of human subjects. In activities they conduct or which are conducted under their direction, they have a direct and continuing responsibility to safeguard the rights and the welfare of the individuals who are or may become subjects of the research. Investigators must comply with the DHHS regulations, with the applicant organization's Assurance of Compliance, and with the requirements and determinations of the IRB concerning the conduct of the research. Investigator Meetings. If the Institution is required to authorise the attendance of Principal Investigator at such meetings, then this authorisation shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed.

Investigator Meetings. CORCEPT may require a representative from ICON CENTRAL to attend, and such representative from ICON CENTRAL shall attend, meetings for the purpose of training the representatives of CORCEPT and any third parties in connection with provision of the Service provided that:
(a) all such meetings shall be at times and locations as mutually agreed between the Parties; CORCEPT 2 Attachment B to Master Services Agreement [*] Certain information has been omitted and filed separately with the Securities and Exchange Commission. (b) ICON CENTRAL shall only be required to attend one (1) meeting for each Project during the term of the Master Agreement. (c) in addition to the charges referred to in subsection (b) above, CORCEPT shall reimburse the reasonable costs and expenses (including without limitation travel and accommodation expenses) of ICON CENTRAL incurred while attending any such meetings and such costs and expenses shall be deemed to be Expenses for the purposes of this Laboratory Services Appendix.

Investigator Meetings. From time to time, Company may hold meetings of investigators to discuss and update the scientific and medical community on Company clinical trial studies and results. If the Principal Investigator desires to attend the meeting and requests that Company reimburse it for costs associated with travel or lodging, the Principal Investigator will first seek Company written consent prior to incurring any cost or charge. Company will not reimburse the Principal Investigator for costs or charges when the Principal Investigator has other business reasons for being at the venue of the meeting, including but not limited to, attending a medical congress or a convention or when such cost or charge would violate applicable law or the then- current PhrMA Code.

Where permitted under Applicable Law and in accordance with SPONSOR’s policies, SPONSOR may reimburse for reasonable and necessary travel, meals or other hospitality incurred by INVESTIGATOR and/or SUBINVESTIGATOR to participate in investigator meetings for the Study (“Investigator Meetings”); provided that SPONSOR will have no obligation to reimburse such expenses except to the extent pre- approved in writing (in SPONSOR’s sole discretion) by SPONSOR.
