Job Counseling. The employer shall strictly comply with and utilize Tribal or TERO job counseling programs where applicable or available. The failure of an Indian Preference Employee to participate in job counseling through Tribal or TERO counseling programs, or counseling programs and procedures specified in Port Susan’s personnel policies, is grounds for immediate suspension or termination or other appropriate employer response; provided however, sanctions for failure of an Indian preference employee to so participate shall not be stricter than that for non-participation of a non-preference employee in similar counseling and programs.
