JOURNEY ACCIDENTS. The company will insure all workers covered by this Agreement against the loss of ordinary wages arising from work absence up to a period of 12 months due to injuries or illness resulting from any accident incurred in journeys between the employee’s residence and the workplace, and return. The company’s liability extends only to the reimbursement of the employee’s ordinary 38 hours rate and all such absences shall be supported by certification of a duly authorised medical practitioner.
JOURNEY ACCIDENTS. The Company’s liability will be met by the making of the contributions on behalf of each employee required as a Participating Employer in the Incolink Leisure Time Insurance and Income Protection Scheme.

Accruing from five days from the date specified in clause 4.4 the Employer shall insure all employees against accidents incurred during journeys between their place of residence and work. In the event of an employee being unfit to work due to such an accident, the employer shall pay the employee’s appropriate 36 hour rate and entitlements under clause 5 of this agreement for a period of 12 months. Payment shall be contingent upon the insurer accepting the claim.

JOURNEY ACCIDENTS. 27.1 The employer will insure all employees covered by this Agreement against the loss of ordinary wages arising from work absence up to a period of twelve (12) months due to injuries or illness resulting from any accident incurred in journeys between the employee’s residence and the workplace, and return.
27.2 The employer’s liability extends only to the reimbursement of the employee’s ordinary rate and all such absences shall be supported by certification of a duly authorized medical practitioner.
JOURNEY ACCIDENTS. The Accident Make Up Scheme applies to journey accidents where the relevant State Workers Compensation legislation does not provide for journey accidents

8.6.2 The enterprise’s liability extends only to the reimbursement of the employee’s ordinary 38 hours rate and all such absences shall be supported by certification of a duly authorized medical practitioner.
8.6.3 The provisions of this clause will not result in any ‘double dipping’ in respect to benefits payable to an employee.
8.6.4 Should there be a substantial increase in the cost of the insurance the parties agree to assess options such as reducing the table of defined benefits to maintain a stable premium figure.

The insurance policy provides for a weekly benefit of 95% of weekly income to a maximum of $1,000 per week. The weekly benefit is payable for a maximum of 156 weeks. The extent of the cover shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the insurance policy. The company shall use it’s best endeavors to maintain this policy in place whilst it is available and affordable. In the event that it is not available or affordable, the company shall try to replace the policy with another appropriate policy providing a minimum weekly benefit coverage of 52 weeks.

7.6.2 The enterprise’s liability extends only to the reimbursement of the employee’s ordinary 36 hours rate and all such absences shall be supported by certification of a duly authorized medical practitioner.
JOURNEY ACCIDENTS. 32.1. The Council undertakes to provide all employees with extended journey accident insurance through Local Government Risk Services (LGRS) to cover them on all journeys.
32.2. The insurance will provide cover for employees suffering bodily injury whilst engaged in a journey associated with work and training.
