Keyboarding. Set your students up for success with our adaptive keyboarding curriculum. We deliver a curriculum that is flexible and adjusts to meet the needs of each student. We take keyboarding to the next level by having students use their Notepads to type extended works. (This prepares them for writing longer texts required for digital exams.) Coding: Students learn to type code with our basic and advanced coding lessons. Typing is the focus as students learn to type the exact characters needed when programming. Digital Citizenship: This area prepares students to be discerning digital citizens and use the internet well. Complete with a guide, your teachers are ready to help your students navigate the web with ease and not fall into its many gimmicks. With the use of Super Hero themed videos, interactive quizzes, and real-world scenarios, we encourage students to think then behave appropriately when they are online. Type Your Own Adventure Students get to apply their keyboarding and digital citizenship skills to solve a mystery. By acting appropriately in this adventure, students get to help the protagonists complete their quest quickly. If they select inappropriate responses, their quests takes many unexpected twists and turns. Reports Administrators and teachers have access to numerous reports that give overall or individualized data for schools, classrooms, or students. Both formative and summative assessments are available. The reports are flexible so that administrators and teachers may construct their own reports by selecting exactly what they want to see, should they not see what they need in our regular reports.   • Onboarding The parties acknowledge that the City provides a new employee orientation (onboarding) to each new employee hired by the City. As such, the Union will be provided with not less than 10 calendar days’ advanced notice of the time, date, and location of the onboarding of any new employee represented by the Union. The Union will be given 30- minutes at the start of the new employee onboarding in a room designated by the City for no more than one (1) representative to present Union membership information. The City representative will excuse him or herself during the Union portion of the onboarding. The Union agrees in its portion of the onboarding not to engage in speech that could cause disruption or material interference with City activities. The City will provide 30 minutes of Union Release Time to the Union representative presenting the Union membership information during the scheduled onboarding. The Union shall provide the Union representative’s immediate supervisor with the Union representative’s name at least five (5) days prior to the onboarding. The Union representative shall be released for this purpose unless unusual operation needs interfere with such release in which case the Union representative’s immediate supervisor will provide a written explanation of why release could not be approved. If the Union representative is not released due to department operational needs, the Union representative may arrange an alternative date and time to meet with the newly hired employee within the first two (2) weeks of employment, subject to the 30-minutes onboarding and Union Release Time requirements as stipulated above.

  • Workstation/Laptop encryption All workstations and laptops that process and/or store County PHI or PI must be encrypted using a FIPS 140-2 certified algorithm which is 128bit or higher, such as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). The encryption solution must be full disk unless approved by the County Information Security Office.

  • Workstation Encryption Supplier will require hard disk encryption of at least 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) on all workstations and/or laptops used by Personnel where such Personnel are accessing or processing Accenture Data.

  • Cell Phones The College follows the State’s Cell Phone Policy. Employees who receive cell phones from the College shall also abide by this Policy. The College shall provide the Policy to any employee who is given a cell phone. Employees are responsible for the cost of all personal calls. While the College anticipates some incidental personal use of cell phones, it is also expected that such use is infrequent.
