Bus Assignment. Mentor Public School buses will be assigned in accordance with the following procedures:
Bus Assignment. Buses will be assigned by the Transportation Supervisor to specific routes in accordance with the capacity, mileage, and age of the buses, so as to get the most service out of each bus. The Board of Education will attempt to provide drivers with a bus of equal or similar characteristics if the employer makes a permanent change in route assignments or bus assignment.
Bus Assignment. When possible, drivers assigned to field trips will drive their own bus and the substitute driver will drive the spare bus.
Bus Assignment. Busses will be assigned by the Transportation Director to specific routes in accordance with the capacity, mileage, and age of the busses, so as to get the most service out of each bus. Bus assignments will be done prior to the Bid Meeting.
Bus Assignment. A. New buses will normally be assigned on the basis of seniority. However, the Board, or its designee, will have the choice of assignment. Such assignment will not be arbitrary or capricious.
Bus Assignment. The assignment of busses to their respective routes will be the responsibility of the bus supervisor, if so employed. New busses will be assigned to routes where most needed. The driver already assigned to that route receiving the new bus will be the driver of the new bus, regardless of seniority. No changes of drivers from one route to another route because they desire a new or better bus is to be allowed.
Bus Assignment. A. Effective 2016-17 School Year, the placement of new school buses will be assigned using the following procedure:
Bus Assignment. Since buses are assigned to routes by size, they are to be driven on their regular assigned routes. A sub-bus will not be used on a regular run unless the assigned bus is out of service or out of town.
