Lead Worker Assignment. Full-time or part-time employees may be asked by 9 the County to perform Lead Worker duties. If the employee voluntarily accepts the terms of the Lead 10 Worker Assignment, the employee will receive a flat 5% Lead Worker pay premium (above merit 11 pay or longevity if applicable). Any overtime earned while performing Lead Worker duties will 12 include the 5% premium. When the Lead Worker Assignment is completed or no longer needed as 13 determined by the County, the employee’s pay shall revert to the pay rate the employee would have 14 received if the employee had not been assigned to Lead Worker. Paid leave (e.g., vacation, sick, 15 executive leave, bereavement) while performing Lead Worker duties shall be at the rate of the pay 16 inclusive of the Lead Worker premium. Lead Worker pay shall not be considered part of an 17 employee’s base pay rate for purposes of pay rate determination as a result of promotion or 18 reclassification, cash-out of vacation or sick leave, or vacation or sick leave donations. If a Lead 19 Worker assignment exceeds (29) consecutive calendar days and the employee is performing higher 20 level classification duties according to the County, the assignment will be converted prospectively to 21 a special duty assignment in accordance with the CLA. In the event no appropriate higher-level 22 classification exists, the Lead Worker Assignment may continue beyond (29) calendar days according 23 to the terms set forth in this Section. 24

Lead Worker Assignment. In the absence of a supervisor at any particular job site, the Public Works Director and/or his Designee may assign the responsibility of basic supervision of a crew. The Lead worker is responsible for the coordination of activities and it shall be the Lead worker’s responsibility to carry out the instructions of the supervisor. The lead worker shall receive 10% above the employee’s current wage scale during the period the employee is responsible for supervision: provided however, when an employee is assigned duties which qualify for both out-of-class and lead worker differentials, the employee shall receive a total differential of 15%.

  • TEACHER ASSIGNMENT A. Under normal circumstances, the teachers will be notified by the Administration in writing of their programs for the coming school year, including the school(s) to which they will be assigned, the grades and/or subjects that they will teach, and any special or unusual classes that they will have by one (1) week before the close of school. Changes in such programs may be made after one (1) week before the close of school, if necessary, and the teachers involved in the change will be notified as soon as possible.

  • SUBCONTRACTS - ASSIGNMENT Contractor shall not subcontract or assign this Agreement, or any part thereof, or interest therein, directly or indirectly, voluntarily or involuntarily, to any person without obtaining the prior written consent by County. Contractor remains legally responsible for the performance of all contract terms including work performed by third parties under subcontracts. Any subcontracting will be subject to all applicable provisions of this Agreement. Contractor shall be held responsible by County for the performance of any subcontractor whether approved by County or not. Contractor hereby assigns to the County all rights, title, and interest in and to all causes of action it may have under Section 4 of the Xxxxxxx Act (15 U.S.C. Sec. 15) or under the Xxxxxxxxxx Act (Chapter 2 (commencing with Section 16700) of Part 2 of Division 7 of the Business and Professions Code), arising from the purchase if goods, materials, or services by the Contractor for sale to the County pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Teacher Assignments 6.10.1 Non-probationary teachers will be given the opportunity to indicate in writing their preference as to subject and grade assignment for the next school year. A teacher who desires a change of assignment within a school shall submit a Preference Form to the School Director. The preference will be considered when making assignments.

  • Overtime Assignment A. In institutional settings when the Agency determines that overtime is necessary, overtime shall be offered on a rotating basis, to the qualified employees who usually work the shift where the opportunity occurs. If no qualified employees on the shift desire to work the overtime, it will be offered on a rotating basis first to the qualified employee with the most state seniority at the work site. When there are no volunteers to work the overtime as outlined above, and/or where an emergency exists, reasonable overtime hours may be required by the Agency. Such overtime shall be assigned, on a rotating basis, first to the qualified employee with the least state seniority at the work site. This policy shall not apply to overtime work which is specific to a particular employee’s claim load or specialized work assignment or when the incumbent is required to finish a work assignment.

  • Summer Assignments Employees who worked less than a 12-month schedule at the 10 time of their work-related accident will not be guaranteed summer employment while 11 participating in the Alternate Duty Program.

  • General Assignment A general assignment by Tenant for the benefit of creditors;

  • Transfer/Assignment (A) Subject to compliance with clause (B) of this Section 8, this Warrant and all rights hereunder are transferable, in whole or in part, upon the books of the Company by the registered holder hereof in person or by duly authorized attorney, and a new warrant shall be made and delivered by the Company, of the same tenor and date as this Warrant but registered in the name of one or more transferees, upon surrender of this Warrant, duly endorsed, to the office or agency of the Company described in Section 3.   • Training Assignments The Supervisor or designee may establish written training assignments to enable an employee to gain the additional experience and training required for the job for a period of time not to exceed two years. At the completion of the training assignment, the employee’s pay will be set no less than the entry rate of pay for the occupational pay band.

  • Room Assignment The Landlord will assign rooms in accordance with the current assignment practice set by Residence Services. The Landlord reserves the right to transfer or move Tenants when deemed necessary. Tenants failing to arrive within 48 hours of the specified move-in date, without informing Residence Services of the delay, will lose their room assignment.

  • Teachers on Special Assignment Employees who are in the following categories are considered to be Teachers on Special Assignment (TOSA): Professional Development specialists, program specialists, consulting teachers, etc.
