Leave for Citizenship Ceremony. Employees who have been employed for at least thirty (30) days may take up to four (4) hours of unpaid leave to attend their citizenship ceremony and receive their certificate of citizenship, as provided under the Citizenship Act. The employee shall provide at least two (2) weeks’ notice, or as much notice as possible before the ceremony.
Leave for Citizenship Ceremony. 1. An employee who has been employed for at least ninety (90) days is entitled to up to a half (1/2) day of unpaid leave to attend a citizenship ceremony to receive a certificate of citizenship, as provided for under the Citizenship Act (Canada) and regulations made under that Act.
2. Before taking a leave under this article, the employee must give the Employer as much notice as is reasonable and practicable in the circumstances.
Leave for Citizenship Ceremony. If requested by the Employer the employee must provide evidence of their entitlement to the leave.
Leave for Citizenship Ceremony. Employees may receive one (1) scheduled day off without loss in pay to attend their own citizenship ceremony and receive their certificate of citizenship. The employee shall provide at least two (2) weeks’ notice, or as much notice as possible before the ceremony, and proof of the date and time of the ceremony.
Leave for Citizenship Ceremony. The Employer will provide an Employee an unpaid leave of absence for up to one day to attend their own citizenship ceremony.
