Leave, Sick - Medical Evidence. If a member’s use of sick time warrants examination, the University may require the member to provide satisfactory medical evidence, such examination shall be at the University’s expense.

Leave, Sick - Medical Evidence. Where, in the judgment of the Associate Vice-President, Human Resources, a member’s use of sick time warrants examination, the University may require the member to provide satisfactory medical evidence; or to be examined by a doctor from a list agreed to by the Association and the University. Such examination shall be at the University’s expense.
Leave, Sick - Medical Evidence. The costs associated with submitting medical forms required from a medical professional for Salary Continuance, Long-Term Disability and/or paid sick leave coverage is the responsibility of the member. Eligible expenses may be submitted to the member’s Health Spending Account (HSA) for reimbursement. In certain circumstances, the University may require the member to provide satisfactory medical evidence through an independent medical examination (IME), and such examination shall be at the University’s expense.

  • Medical Examinations An employee may be required by the Employer, at the request of and at the expense of the Employer, to take a medical examination by a physician of the employee's choice. Employees may be required to take skin tests, x-ray examination, vaccination, inoculation and other immunization (with the exception of a rubella vaccination when the employee is of the opinion that a pregnancy is possible), unless the employee's physician has advised in writing that such a procedure may have an adverse affect on the employee's health.
