Leave to Attend Meetings. 18.1 The Employer shall grant paid leave (at ordinary rates) to employees required to attend formal meetings of registration body (except where the matter arises out of employment with another employer) and the APEX Board.
18.2 Paid leave shall also be granted where an employee is required to attend meetings of Boards or Statutory Committees provided that the appointment to the Board or Committee is by ministerial appointment.
18.3 Any remuneration received by the Employee for the period that paid leave was granted shall be paid to the Employer.
Leave to Attend Meetings.
18.1 The employer shall grant paid leave (at ordinary rates) to Employees required to attend formal meetings of the New Zealand Nursing Council or the Midwifery Council (except where the matter arises out of employment with other employers, the NZNO Board, Runanga O Aotearoa and the Membership Committee providing a minimum of 6 weeks notice is provided to meet rostering provisions. Attendance at the Membership Committee will be up to 6 meetings per year and that no more than one employee from any one individual DHB will attend. Approval will be obtained from the employee’s manager which will not be unreasonably withheld.
18.2 Paid leave shall also be granted where an Employee is required to attend meetings of Boards or Statutory Committees provided that the appointment to the Board or Committee is by ministerial appointment.
18.3 Any remuneration received by the Employee for the period that paid leave was granted shall be paid to the Employer.
Leave to Attend Meetings.
32.1 The Employer shall grant paid leave (at ordinary rates T1) to Employees required to attend formal meetings of any statutory registration body that the employee is required to be certified by in order to undertake their contracted duties; except where the matter arises out of employment with another employer.
32.2 Paid leave shall also be granted where an Employee is required to attend meetings of Boards or Statutory Committees provided that the appointment to the Board or Committee is by ministerial appointment.
32.3 Any remuneration received by the Employee for the period that paid leave was granted shall be paid to the Employer.
Leave to Attend Meetings a. The Employer shall grant paid leave (at ordinary rates) to midwives required to attend formal meetings of the New Zealand Midwifery Council, except where the matter arises out of employment with another employer. This includes attendance as a reviewer in the standards review process.
b. Paid leave shall also be granted where a midwife is required to attend meetings of Boards, regulatory forums or statutory committees provided that the appointment to the Board or Committee is by ministerial appointment, or the midwife is attending in the role of an expert witness.
c. Any remuneration received by the Midwife for the period that paid leave was granted shall be paid to the Employer.
d. The employer shall grant paid leave (at ordinary rates) to a midwife elected to the NZCOM National Committee or the XXXXX National Representative Council, A midwife shall be entitled up to 4 days per annum to attend meetings of the NZCOM National Committee or the XXXXX National Representative Council. Approval will be obtained from the employer’s manager, taking into consideration service requirements which will not be unreasonably withheld.

Leave to Attend Meetings. 18.1 The Employer shall grant union members leave on pay to undertake trade union education or training, in accordance with the Employment Relations Xxx 0000. The provisions of this Act, or any amendment or Act passed in substitution for this Act, shall apply.

18.3 Paid leave shall also be granted where an employee is required to attend meetings of Boards or Statutory Committees provided that the appointment to the Board or Committee is by Ministerial appointment.
18.4 Any remuneration received by the Employee for the period that paid leave was granted shall be paid to the Employer.
Leave to Attend Meetings. 18.1 For Te Whatu Ora Waitematā District employees: The Employer shall grant paid leave (at ordinary rates) to employees required to attend formal meetings of registration body (except where the matter arises out of employment with another employer) and the APEX National Executive meetings to a maximum of 2 days per annum.
18.2 Paid leave shall also be granted where an employee is required to attend meetings of Boards or Statutory Committees provided that the appointment to the Board or Committee is by ministerial appointment.
18.3 Any remuneration received by the Employee for the period that paid leave was granted shall be paid to the Employer.
