Level 2 Superintendent. In the event the grievant is not satisfied with the decision rendered at Level 1, the grievant may appeal the decision, on the appropriate form, to the Superintendent or designated administrative officer within ten (10) days. This statement shall include a copy of the original grievance, the decision rendered, and a clear, concise statement of the reasons for the appeal. The Superintendent or designee shall communicate a written decision within ten (10) days after receiving the appeal. Either the grievant or the Superintendent may request a personal conference within the ten (10) day time limit. If the Superintendent or designee does not respond within the ten (10) day time limit, the grievant may appeal to the next level.
Level 2 Superintendent. A. Within five (5) days following the date of the supervisor’s written response at the first level, the grievance may be appealed by the employee and/or the Association representative to the Superintendent. The appeal shall be on the form designated by the union with a written statement of the grievance and signed by the employee and the association representative. Within 30 days of receipt of Level 2 grievance, a date for the hearing shall be arranged between the bargaining unit member, the Superintendent or his/her designated representative (who must be someone other than the bargaining unit member’s immediate supervisor), and a representative of the ABEA, and other parties that may be needed to give information relative to the claim. A decision from the Superintendent or designee shall be rendered in writing within 10 days of the hearing.
Level 2 Superintendent a. If the grievant remains unsatisfied with the written decision, the grievant may within 5 school days of the receipt of the immediate supervisor's written decision appeal the grievance to the Superintendent. The superintendent shall within ten work days of the appeal meet with the grievant to resolve the grievance.
Level 2 Superintendent. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Xxxxx 0, then the grievant shall have ten (10) working days in which to refer his/her grievance to the Superintendent or his/her official designee. Upon receipt of the Level 2 grievance, the Superintendent or his/her official designee shall arrange for a mutually-agreeable date and time for a hearing with the grievant and/or the Association, to take place within ten (10) working days. The parties in interest shall have the right to include in the representation such witnesses and counselors as they deem necessary to develop facts pertinent to the grievance. Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Superintendent will have ten (10) working days to provide his/her written decision, together with the reasons for the decision to the grievant.
Level 2 Superintendent. 6.4.1 Where the aggrieved party is not satisfied with the Level 1 decision, said party may, within seven (7) school days of the receipt of the Level 1 decision, initiate an appeal in writing to the Superintendent of Schools.
Level 2 Superintendent. 9.2.2.1 The Superintendent or his/her designee shall meet with the grievant and/or designated representative within ten (10) days of receipt of the grievance appeal and shall provide written disposition of the grievance, including the reasons, therefore, to all parties of interest within ten (10) days of such meeting.
Level 2 Superintendent. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of their grievance at Level 1, then the grievant shall have ten (10) working days in which to refer their grievance to the Superintendent or their official designee. Upon receipt of the Level 2 grievance, the Superintendent or their official designee shall arrange for a mutually-agreeable date and time for a hearing with the grievant and/or the Association, to take place within ten (10) working days. The parties in interest shall have the right to include in the representation such witnesses and counselors as they deem necessary to develop facts pertinent to the grievance. Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Superintendent will have ten (10) working days to provide their written decision, together with the reasons for the decision to the grievant.
Level 2 Superintendent. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at level one, or if no decision has been rendered by the Principal within five (5) days after the filing of the written grievance, the grievant may within seven (7) days after receipt of the Principal's answer, or within seven (7) days of when the Principal's answer was due, file a grievance in writing to the Superintendent. The Superintendent may meet with the grievant individually or accompanied by the Auburn Education Association's designated representative within a period not to exceed seven (7) days from the receipt of the grievance. The Superintendent shall thereafter communicate his/her decision in writing within ten (10) days of the receipt of the grievance, or following a meeting on the grievance, whichever is later, to the grievant and the Principal.
Level 2 Superintendent. (b) The Superintendent or his/her designee shall communicate the decision to the grievant and the Board within five (5) days after receiving the appeal. Either the grievant or the Superintendent may request a personal conference within the above time limits. If the Superintendent does not respond within the time limits, the grievant may appeal to the next level.
