MARINE DISASTER. An Officer who, while employed by the Company, suffers loss of clothing or other personal effects of any kind because of marine disasters or shipwreck, shall be compensated by the Company for such loss, up to a maximum of three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500.00). An Officer or his estate making a claim under this section shall submit reasonable proof to the Company of the actual loss he suffered. Any dispute between an Officer and a Company with respect to a claim made under subsection shall be subject to the grievance and arbitration procedures set forth in this Agreement.
MARINE DISASTER. MARINE DISASTER. 41.1 Any employee who, while in the employ of the Company, suffers loss of clothing and/or personal effects actually incurred through marine disaster or shipwreck, shall be compensated by the payment of an amount up to $1,700 on production of a notarized affidavit detailing the items lost.

MARINE DISASTER. 16.1 Any Officer covered by this Agreement, who, while in the employ of the Company and on Company business, suffers loss of clothing, tools or equipment, or personal effects through marine mishap, vessel disaster or ship wreck, shall be compensated by a lump sum payment of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) and subject to satisfactory proof of loss, an additional payment not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). Maximum compensation shall be one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00). In the event of such a loss, a detailed list is to be submitted to the Company within thirty (30) days of loss and to be paid by the Company or Insurance Underwriters within sixty (60) days thereafter.
16.2 Any compensation payable by this Clause will be paid first to the Officer, second to the beneficiary named by the Officer on his/her group life insurance, and lastly to the estate of the Officer as may be applicable in the circumstances. An Officer, beneficiary or estate making a claim under this Clause shall submit reasonable proof to the Company of the actual value of the loss suffered. Such proof shall be a signed affidavit listing the individual items and values claimed.
MARINE DISASTER. Officers who suffer loss of personal effects through wreck or marine disaster shall be compensated for such loss up to a value of $2,000.00.
MARINE DISASTER. An Officer who, while employed by the Company, suffers loss of clothing or other personal effects of any kind because of marine disasters or shipwreck, shall be compensated by the Company for such up to a maximum of three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500.00). The Company agrees to provide immersion suits that conform with standards prescribed by to Officers of all vessels. It is understood that each Officer will be fully responsible and accountable for this suit at all times. The Company agrees to comply with smoke, fire and gas detectors covered by regulations in the most expeditious manner.
MARINE DISASTER. Unlicensed crew members who suffer loss of personal effects and clothes through wreck or marine disaster shall be compensated by a lump sum payment of four hundred dollars ($400.00) and, subject to satisfactory proof of loss, an additional payment not to exceed eight hundred dollars ($800.00). In the event of loss of life, these monies shall be paid to the beneficiary.
MARINE DISASTER. Any Officer who suffers loss of personal effects, clothing, navigational equipment and tools related to the operation of the vessel through wreck or marine disaster, or while in transit provided or paid for by the Company to our home port, shall be compensated by a payment of one thousand six hundred dollars ($1,600.00) for shift vessels, and two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) when on a continuous operating vessel, subject to satisfactory proof of loss and in the event of loss of life this amount to be paid to the Beneficiary. In addition, an additional two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) shall be available for loss of supplemental electronic equipment on continuous operating vessels.
MARINE DISASTER.
1. a) Where a Pilot suffers loss of clothing or personal effects from a marine disaster or shipwreck during the course of their regular duty as a Pilot or while en-route to or from an assignment, they shall be reimbursed by the Authority for the loss of such clothing or personal effects.
