MEAL BREAKS/REST PAUSES. (a) Work breaks will be taken as directed by the Employer, and will be timed to ensure customer service needs are met. (b) Work breaks must be taken by the employee. (c) Meal breaks are unpaid and not counted as time worked. (d) An employee who works more than four hours on any day shall be allowed a 10 minute paid break. (e) An employee who works more than five hours and up to ten hours on any one day shall be allowed a 10 minute paid break and a 30 minute unpaid break. (f) An employee who works more than ten hours on any one day shall be allowed two 15 minute paid breaks and two 30 minute unpaid breaks.
