Meals/Meal Periods. 1. (Not applicable to employees working straight eights or twelves.) In the event an employee works through his or her regularly scheduled meal period (approximately mid-shift) or is unable to take a meal period commencing within one hour before or after the start time of the regularly scheduled meal period, the employee shall be entitled to take up to a one-half hour meal period while on duty when there is a reasonable opportunity thereafter. Such meal period shall be (1) included as paid work time and (2) used for the purposes of determining if and when overtime begins.

  • Meal Periods (a) Meal periods shall be scheduled as closely as possible to the middle of the workday. The length of the meal period shall be not less than thirty (30) minutes and not more than sixty (60) minutes.

  • Meal Period A Contractor shall schedule an unpaid period of not more than 1/2 hour duration at the work location between the 3rd and 5th hour of the scheduled shift. A Contractor may, for efficiency of operation, establish a schedule which coordinates the meal periods of two or more crafts. If an employee is required to work through the meal period, the employee shall be compensated in a manner established in the applicable Schedule A.

  • Renewal Periods Renewal of registered names may be made in one (1) year increments for up to a maximum of ten (10) years. For the avoidance of doubt, renewal of registered names may not extend their registration period beyond ten (10) years from the time of the renewal.
